@rowemore Glad to hear you are enjoying the QuillBot tools! Over 60% of our users are English language learners, many of whom are also students--they use the paraphraser to visually build sentences to articulate themselves and their ideas. We're pretty proud of that.
🍎 Hey @emily_perry1 … What all is included in the free tier, and what do you get when you upgrade to premium?
@rowemore We actually have 2 types of Freemium accounts: one for ease of use, no log in credentials required; and one for users with accounts.
For the paraphraser, when you're not signed in, you have access to our Standard and Fluency writing Modes with a 400 character limit. Signed in on a Free plan, you get additional access to Creative Mode, with a character limit of 700. On either free plan, you can turn the Word Flipper up from levels 1 to 3 to decide how much variance you want to see with respect to synonyms. You also can use the drop-down thesaurus to change words or phrases within the paraphrased text for better articulation, choose from British/American/Australian English, and have changed words and structural changes highlighted within your work. Our extensions are also part of our Freemium plans.
Premium unlocks 4 additional writing Modes: Creative+, Formal, Shorten, and Expand, plus the character limit goes up to 10,000. Additionally, you get access to all 4 levels of the Word Flipper to control the range of synonyms, along with other features like:
1. Freeze words: log jargon, branded terms, or whatever words/phrases you don't want to be paraphrased within your writing
2. Compare Modes (my personal favorite!): see paraphrases from all 7 modes at once
3. Ability to see the longest unchanged words.
For the Summarizer Freemium plans, with no login, the character count is 2,500, but with login it's 5,000. Premium plans get 25,000 characters.
For the Grammar Checker, we don't have different limits because we are still in beta for this tool!

@alexey_antipov If you like what we have, just wait til you see what we roll out in the next quarter or so!! I also write a ton of content and find our tools, especially the paraphraser, really helpful in articulating my thoughts exactly how they appear in my mind. There is no greater sense of confidence than being able to do that for me because I struggled for a really long time with not being able to articulate myself well in writing.
