··· I'VE BEEN EVALUATING the many "AI Writing" / GPT-3 backed products coming out this year & QuillBot stuck out to me as one of the more serious tools — it's not some spammy SEO content generator. 🔸 The paraphraser works great, and who doesn't want an AI Robot to write things for them, or improve their existing content? 🔸 QuillBot also has a grammar checker (like Grammarly) — which many other AI Writers don't have. 🔸 I learned QuillBot has around 6 million users worldwide who use the software to rewrite sentences, paragraphs, or articles … using state-of-the-art AI. QuillBot seems to have more of an "academic" focus. I think lot of students use it, but I've found it to be great for technical writing / documentation. 🔸 English Language Learners (ELL / ESL) can also benefit; that's another use case I see here. Personally, when I'm writing and I'm stuck, and I want to make just a little bit of progress, I can pull up QuillBot and it helps! … ···

I also write a ton of content and find our tools, especially the paraphraser, really helpful in articulating my thoughts exactly how they appear in my mind. There is no greater sense of confidence than being able to do that for me because I struggled for a really long time with not being able to articulate myself well in writing. @rowemore We actually have 2 types of Freemium accounts: one for ease of use, no log in credentials required; and one for users with accounts. For the paraphraser, when you're not signed in, you have access to our Standard and Fluency writing Modes with a 400 character limit. Signed in on a Free plan, you get additional access to Creative Mode, with a character limit of 700. On either free plan, you can turn the Word Flipper up from levels 1 to 3 to decide how much variance you want to see with respect to synonyms. You also can use the drop-down thesaurus to change words or phrases within the paraphrased text for better articulation, choose from British/American/Australian English, and have changed words and structural changes highlighted within your work. Our extensions are also part of our Freemium plans. Premium unlocks 4 additional writing Modes: Creative+, Formal, Shorten, and Expand, plus the character limit goes up to 10,000. Additionally, you get access to all 4 levels of the Word Flipper to control the range of synonyms, along with other features like: 1. Freeze words: log jargon, branded terms, or whatever words/phrases you don't want to be paraphrased within your writing 2. Compare Modes (my personal favorite!): see paraphrases from all 7 modes at once 3. Ability to see the longest unchanged words. For the Summarizer Freemium plans, with no login, the character count is 2,500, but with login it's 5,000. Premium plans get 25,000 characters. For the Grammar Checker, we don't have different limits because we are still in beta for this tool!

QuillBot must have been the most helpful writer's companion app I've ever tried. Awesome tool, gives you Grammar Checker, Paraphraser, and Summarizer. GC was particularly helpful as I'm not a native speaker. It even suggests you paraphrase after error checking.

I have been using QuillBot for about many months now and I love it more and more each time. It takes my long boring writing and makes it short and creative. I use this tool so much, I paid for the premium features. ;)
