@simonenever I have sensitive teeth, and I'm wondering how quip handles that. Right now, I use the Oral-B ProfessionalCare 3000 which warns me if I'm pressing too hard and supports a brush head for sensitive teeth. I also use toothpaste for sensitive teeth. I like the idea of quip but I can't switch without a little more knowledge here.

quip is oral care designed for a modern healthy lifestyle, engineered to do the basics (we all ignore) better and delivered to your door when you need it most. Our aim is to elevate your daily tooth-brushing chore into an engaging ritual like the rest of our daily routine and, in doing so, alter attitudes and eliminate bad habits. Launching with a slim, travel ready, electric toothbrush and convenient brush head and toothpaste refill delivery subscription, quip offers a more simple and effective brushing experience that "does the basics better” and improves oral health at its base level. With electric brushes starting at $25 and head or toothpaste refills shipped free every 3 months from $5, it also hugely undercuts the expensive electric head replacement market.

Seriously? Disposable batteries?

Coolest toothbrush I've ever owned. Sleek, comfortable to grip, and gives me a great clean feeling after I brush. The automatic 3-month replacement heads, 2-minute vibration timer, and travel portability make it the perfect product.

After over a year of usage, I was surprised with how long it has lasted me, but for no reason, the brush heads won't stay on anymore after several replacements! Water gets inside the battery and you're basically fucked because it will also kills the motor.

Pros:

Looks sleek

Brush feels good

Cons:

Not waterproof

Requires batteries
