This is definitely something I could use. But Quolum only in the USA at the moment? What's your roadmap for other countries?
Jay Magdani
@thisissubhendu Thanks for your support. Currently, we are open for businesses that are registered in US/Canada. We are looking for a few partners in LATAM, EU, Asia and others to cater to businesses registered in those regions. We will continue to expand our presence in these geographies over the coming months.
Ian
It appears the only way for "internationals" (people not in North America) to get updates is to request access. You don't ask which region or country someone is from, so I expect to get invited long before it's available to me.
Jay Magdani
@ianmayman We are taking a few signups everyday to provide a personalized onboarding to all our customers. Since you have signed up, on the followup emails we will ask for details about your business registration country and put you in the right queue for onboarding. Thanks for signing up with us. Looking forward to speak with you soon.

Thanks, @kevin for hunting us! Butterflies and excitement as I write this first comment. Charge Cards have come a long way since Frank MacNamara struggled to pay for his expense at the Majors Cabin Grill restaurant in 1949. Payment Cards represent a frictionless movement of money between the bank that issues a card to an acquirer that helps a merchant accept it. We think that now is the time to augment this electronic value exchange with another layer of great software and services to support a buyer. As a first step, to help make progress towards that vision, today we are launching the Quolum SaaS Card to help buyers of SaaS products get SaaS Management features with them. When you buy a subscription to Zoom, Atlassian, or your go-to SaaS application, you also get to see whether you are consuming these products or there are some licenses sitting as shelfware. We have taken the unique step of bundling SaaS Payments with SaaS Management. It took a lot of hard work, sleepless nights, and learning some cool new tech to push this new solution out of the door. Acknowledging, while we are making progress, the pandemic runs strong in many parts of the world. A few features to help pay and manage SaaS purchases: - Spending Controls - SaaS Consumption Monitoring - SaaS Catalog - Application discovery from GSuite, Okta, and Azure AD - Invoice Processing We have just started on this Journey. We see a lot more possibilities in the SaaS Management space. Sign up with us as we launch to infinity and beyond. Signup, if you need your own SaaS Card, or just send us your hugs and kisses.

@kevin @1ndus congrats on the launch. Here are my “nice to have”: - reconcile for invoices - export to xero/QB - expense planning (based on the charge cycle) - show average spent per vendor in the industry / region - guarantee protection from force charge (LinkedIn) - offer clear chargeback policy and customer support
Indus Khaitan
@eugenehp Thanks. We are working on a few of those items. For LinkedIn, do you mean that they charge you for the job posting beyond 30 days even if you close?
Eugene Hauptmann
@1ndus When you switch plan to Sales Navigator or Premium and back, they will charge you extra on the more expensive plan "by mistake", and then it takes long hours of customer support to get that refund.
Indus Khaitan
@eugenehp aha! This would be an interesting one to tackle. Thanks.

This looks super cool. Can you put a cap for each department, individual? Also just curious how do you ensure that its not used for any other purposes than SaaS?
Jay Magdani
@abhi426 Thank you for your support. Responding to your 2 queries 1. Using our Rule Engine, You can add spending limits, application blacklists and other custom rules for each individual/department. 2. Given that we are VISA powered, that partnership helps us identify if a merchant is a SaaS vendor. We will auto-reject all transactions that do not originate from whitelisted SaaS vendors.
Indus Khaitan
@abhi426 Thanks, Abhinav!

I love the demo. I am excited what this means for small SaaS vendors as well. Getting a corporate card on file for small spends is a non-trivial problem. Question though, is this available to customer in all markets or are your currently focused on the US markets.
Jay Magdani
@ku1deep Thanks for the love ❤️ Currently, we are supporting businesses registered in US and CA. We will move to markets in LATAM, EU, MEA, APAC and others over the next few months.

Product looks super sleek, intuitive. Congratulations on the launch @1ndus! Question - can we monitor usage of the SaaS apps with central user management from Quolum?
Indus Khaitan
@allagappan_alagu_muthuraman Thanks! We have native integrations with apps to bring in the usage data.
Kashyap Deorah
This is great. Help me shut down or ramp down accounts where usage is low and exit barrier is high (due to vendor interaction & process required), and this is gold!
Indus Khaitan
@righthalf Bingo! I'm gonna slightly rephrase and use that line 🙌 👍👍
Tom Sylvan
@1ndus I visited your documentation -> https://help.quolum.com/docs I understand this isn't fully developed yet as basically, your help articles are lists of FAQs. At which point do you foresee expanding those into fully-fledged help articles?
Prashant Sachan
Lovely demo! This Biryani has been in the making by Masterchef @1ndus and the Quolum team for some time now. Great to see it ready to be served hot. All the best!
Kavita Mittal
@1ndus congrats on the launch!! This is pretty cool stuff!! Question on "...you also get to see whether you are consuming these products or there are some licenses sitting as shelfware..." Are you able to report consumption of service transactions eg API usage or are you referring to reporting a license assignments per user, or perhaps both?
Rohit Khanna
This looks like a problem whose time has come in the modern world of ever company having a gazillion saas tools. Product looks exciting. Good luck! 👍
Jay Magdani
@rohit_khanna2 Thanks for the ❤️ SaaS is replacing both people and services. With close to 20K identified SaaS applications and growing everyday, this indeed is the need of the hour.
Saksham Keshri
Is this available for India as well? The existing card doesn’t have reporting and come to know only through sms at the end of the month.
Jay Magdani
@sakshamkeshri Currently, we are supporting businesses registered in US and CA. We will move to markets in LATAM, EU, MEA, APAC and others over the next few months. What problem you highlighted is the gap we identified when we set out to build the SaaS card. All your expenses, from Uber to a Customer Dinner to a SaaS licence are all bundled together without a strong reporting capability. Quolum's SaaS card will help you analyze recurring SaaS spend and the SaaS consumption dashboard will help you validate the ROI of your spend. Looking forward to coming to India soon. Thanks!
sameergshah
This solves a big pain. The demo looks fantastic and am sure the finance teams will love the spend controls and single invoice. Cant wait to use this once it launches for Indian companies.
Jay Magdani
@sameergshah absolutely bang on. Our research with CFOs showed us how much pain they go through week over week managing SaaS invoices and payments. We will launch soon in India. Thanks for your support!
Abhishek Poddar
Amazing to see the product. Experience looks amazing. Is this available for Indian companies as well?
Indus Khaitan
@abhishek_poddar Thanks! Right now for businesses that are registered in US/Canada. We are scouting for a few partners in Asia to cater to businesses registered there.
Pawan Bhadauria
This looks amazing! We are also a small team at Workaya.ai & already have 12 paid applications in use. Hard to manage the spend. I have one question though; can the approval process be customized based on amount before hand? For ex, approve less than $500 automatically but get approval beyond $500 (both single and multi admin approval) for employees.
Jay Magdani
@pawan_bhadauria Your 12 paid applications are what you know you use. But there will be countless freemium Shadow IT apps that the team may have signed up for via the IAM. You will get insights into those as well. It will help you keep track of where your and your customer data is being shared. Great question on the approval process. We have a Rule Engine where you can build your own rules for each card before a single $ is spent on a card. Hope that answers your query. Cheers!
Bahadir Ozdemir
This solves such a clear pain. I can't tell you how many times we had to pay extra 2 or 3 months of subscription for tools that we even forgot we were using. Looking forward to exploring how we can use this in our company. Kudos to Quolum team👊
Indus Khaitan
@bahadir_ozdemir Absolutely, that's the use-case. A lot of us pay for a $20/month service, use it for a few months, and then move on to something new. Thanks for your support!
Pradeep Kumar S
Congratulations on the launch @1ndus and team! Adding my vote for supporting businesses based out of India :)
Indus Khaitan
@praks Exploring that. Hope RBI approvals are not more than a year 😇
raghuveer kancherla
Super nice @1ndus. Look forward to support for India headquartered companies. Would signup immediately. Curious what the paid plans would be priced at.
Indus Khaitan
@notraghu Thanks. We are working on the pricing options for paid plans. We'll have an ansewer in 4-5 weeks.
Arnob Mukherjee
Demo looks great, happy to see it going out, congratulations on the launch team 🙌🏻
Jay Magdani
@iamarnob6543 Thank you for your support.
Chandrashekhar Shaw
This looks super cool. This will surely save the charges when we forget what all subscriptions we have.
Indus Khaitan
@shawcs Thanks. All the hidden charges and things that we have bought but now forgot :0)
