@ducttape Thanks John! We're all really enjoying the journey, and this new feature is a really cool service that we think can make a BIG difference to people's content marketing efforts!
I discovered Quuu a few weeks ago from a friend's recommendation. I don't use it as the sole source of my tweets, but it is nice to have at least one a day dripping into my buffer to keep my account active when I need to go heads-down. The addition of Promote is an affordable alternative to paying the per-"engagement" fees of an actual promoted tweet. I actually don't want a lot of people to know about this because it is my new secret weapon for content promotion!
@ryanbattles Thanks Ryan! I've heard the 'secret weapon' a lot recently which is really cool that people see it like that :) We use it ourselves and we built it for a purpose, so we're delighted to know other people find it as useful as we do :-)
I've been a user of / curator for Quuu for a few months now. It's awesome for just about everyone, especially content marketing folks. I've recommended that plenty of my friends / colleagues join.
Been using Quuu for a couple months, big fan :) The things I tweet from it usually get good engagement and being able to add the best stuff I'm finding to the queue for other people is fantastic
Awesome product guys! Been using quuu for a few months now and I have to say the curated content is on point.
Just bought the $15, $5 and $2 promotions for different articles of min! :)
@joey_tawadrous I've just made you a Quuurator Joey, we're always on the lookout for wicked talent, and we loved all of your work. So we look forward to seeing even more of your content. You're now free to curate as much as you like, whenever you like, FOR FREE :-) Thanks for the kind words about Quuu, it's very cool to hear, and it's nice to know that we're helping our users!
I liked the way that you guys flipped this model. Compare this to what sites like CoPromote are doing and it's clear the value proposition here is a lot stronger. The problem with sites focused on promoting content is that the quality dips immensely. If you guys succeed at keeping it high, the results will be pretty stunning, IMHO.
@shortformernie Thanks Ernie, yeh I'm actually in the process of writing a blog about our core value of defaulting to quality. Without that quality driving everything we do Quuu would just not work, so that's our focus all day every day!! Thanks for the kind words and the support :)
I've had a couple of posts promoted with this tool and they have both had the most retweets, likes, etc... I've seen ever on any of my content on Twitter. Definitely would recommend and will continue to use
Hey, thanks for hunting Ben!
We've grown Quuu.co substantially since our last product hunt feature, so thank you all!
We now share over 4000 posts per day (1.4 million curated posts per year). Our Quuurators do an amazing job finding great content to share over various interest categories, so now we are opening up submitting content to Quuu to everyone.
You can now promote your content across Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn at the same time from just $2 for a months exposure. Everything that is submitted will be strictly moderated to ensure complete relevancy and quality to maintain the current standard of content we provide.
Thanks again for hunting, and i'm looking forward to hearing everyones thoughts on Quuu Promote! :-)
@danielkempe if you want more information guys on Quuu Promote that we released today then you can read more on our blog here http://quuu.co/blog/the-power-of... - just hit us up on the chat if you have any questions, or we'd be happy to answer them here too :)
I don't understand what it does. I dislike "growth hacking" and don't know the terminologies. Can makers please explain the problem and how you solve it step by step?
@danr_4 It can help you promote your content across all mediums via real people (instead of sponsored ads). So say, you've just finished writing an article and you'd like people to read it. You can use Quuu to promote said content for a small fee. From just $2, you get a whole months exposure.
@danr_4 Also just to add to Dan's comments Dan, your promoted content is getting shared by highly relevant people to even more people who are also interested in your subject matter. I explain it more in this blog http://quuu.co/blog/the-power-of... - hopefully the blog explains why this method of promoting content is unique and high quality!
@matthewspurr@danr_4 Can I submit the same article to more than one tier? Both Travel (Personal Experience Blogs) and Travel perfectly target my audience.
So @danielkempe was the one who first gave me commenting access on Product Hunt.
We both then started Backa together.
Since then I launched Marketing Stack and Daniel has launched Quuu which has grown tremendously since it's launch now with over 120k shares per month from its users!
Quuu gives you hand curated content suggestions for social media. Now you can promote it to reach a broader audience!
So I'll let Dan tell you how the promoted side of Quuu works :)
I've been using Quuu as a consumer (er, producer I guess) to enrich my feed and have been very happy with the results in terms of engagement. I knew there had to be another side to this business and figured you were selling this very product privately to mainstream publishers. Making it public like this is really very clever. You've managed to tempt me to convert from a leech to a paying customer and that's not easy. What might be even harder, though, is maintaining the quality of your promoted content while simultaneously selling promotion to the mass market. I'd be interested to know how you plan to do that?
@jdemorrow Thanks for the comments Jason, and may I say that you don't look at all leech like ;) hah. I've just commented on @MarieTatibouet's reply answering the same question, hope that helps. If not then let me know!
I have been using Quuu for several of my accounts and have been pleased with the quality and engagement I am seeing from the updates. Will be interesting to see how paid promotion will affect things.
@robertwilliger Hi Rob, at Quuu, we default to Quality. We will continue to strictly moderate everything that's submitted to Quuu. We won't let you down :-)
