Hey everyone 👋
Today we’re announcing Radix v1!
Radix Primitives is a set of 26 unstyled UI components for building high‑quality, accessible UI, design systems, and web apps in React. The components focus on accessibility and behaviour, and come with no styling at all. We aim to provide you with a set of super high-quality UI components that solve the tricky challenges like focus management, keyboard a11y, and screenreader support, but get out of your way as much as possible when it comes to styling.
Radix is already being used in production by hundreds of development teams, including some awesome companies like Vercel, CodeSandbox, Supabase, WorkOS, and many more.
Radix Primitives npm packages are installed over 5 million times per month, and its usage is growing quickly. If you need some help getting started, we have a Discord server with over 3000 members.
Our goal is to make Radix the highest quality and most accessible UI components available for React-based web apps.
Feel free to share any questions and comments below, would love to chat with you about Radix :)

Radix has solved so many tricky, time consuming and essential UI details. When I need a new component, Radix is the first library I check for.
The color system alone is also worth its weight and gold. And the documentation is gorgeous and comprehensive.
Congrats on the launch team! 🔥
Love Radix! It's the only UI framework I recommend and is core to the product at Basedash. Can't imagine going back to using custom components or overly opinionated frameworks. It takes care of the hard stuff for us and we get to focus on our features.
What Radix UI has done for front-end web developers is to provide an accessible, composable, and ergonomic set of components with which you can build 90% of your application. To build the rest, you just need Radix Colors and Stitches 😉
Stop wasting time. Use Radix.
congrats on the launch!
been using it in production since alpha, always excited to see new iterations, amazing work 🤙
