Since launching RankWeek last November I've completely re-written the app, it's now much faster, easier and with a lot of new features. Some notable changes:
- Much faster and scalable backend based on cloudflare workers
- New UI/UX. RankWeek is now much easier to use and clearly shows Search Console errors.
- New Sitemap analytics. RankWeek features a new module which keeps track of sitemap changes and "ghost pages" (pages index and not in sitemap).
We received a lot of great feedback and some of the best SEO agencies use RankWeek daily.
I recommend anyone to try it free a week and see the results. It takes 30 seconds to setup!
Hey @cosbgn this is an amazing tool for content creators, niche website and many more 👏🏻
2 questions:
1. How does the re-indexing work. I guess the service needs access to the google search console api?
2. Does this work for other search engines besides Google?
Congrats on the launch 🚀
@crebuh Hey thanks for the message!
1. Yes, we compare search console data with your sitemap and find missmatches. Then we verify them (we make sure they are actually not indexed) and if needed (it's not always needed, for example with 301 redirects) we re-indexed them using the google indexing api.
2. We focus only on Google right now as most of the traffic is from Google. We could implement other browsers but I believe it's really not needed (not once we had this feature request)
Love the idea and the website looks great! After I create a sitemap and robots.txt for my website, I'll definitely be using this to improve SEO.
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin yes exactly, you will get new pages submitted for indexing as soon as they are in the sitemap, so instead of waiting sometimes for months before google discovers them you will get traffic withing 48 hours often
This looks really promising! @cosbgn, I’m curious about the speed improvements—how does the Cloudflare workers integration enhance performance compared to the previous backend? Also, the new UI/UX sounds great, but can you share how the changes in the Search Console error display have impacted user experience for SEO tracking?
I’m especially interested in the sitemap analytics feature; do you have any stats on how effective it has been in identifying ghost pages? Lastly, how easy is it to migrate existing data to the new version if a user decides to upgrade from an older app version? Looking forward to learning more about these updates!
RankWeek V2 looks like a must-try for anyone serious about SEO! The new cloudflare-backed setup means faster performance, and the updated UI makes it super easy to spot errors. Tracking sitemap changes and those pesky "ghost pages" is a game changer. Definitely worth a week-long free trial!
@ezshine exactly! Even if you don't plan to subscribe, I would take the whole week to check my site status, index missing pages, etc. You don't need to stay subscribed, in a week it does a lot of work already!
Hi @cosbgn
Congrats on the launch! Seems like RankWeek is a really useful tool :)
I created this shortlink for you that will send users directly to this PH page, in case you feel like the PH link is too long :)

Super excited to see the updates on RankWeek, @cosbgn! The new UI/UX sounds like a game-changer for usability. Can't wait to give the new features a try and boost my SEO. Great job on the improvements!
Great to see the updates on RankWeek, @cosbgn! The new UI/UX sounds fantastic and I'm excited about the sitemap analytics feature. I have hundreds of non-index pages in my GSC, can't wait to test it out and see the SEO boost. đź’Ş
Absolutely loving the updates on RankWeek, @cosbgn! The new UI/UX looks fantastic and the speed improvements are a game changer for monitoring site changes. The addition of Sitemap analytics and tracking of "ghost pages" is a smart move for SEO optimization. Excited to see how the new features perform in practice! Definitely going to give it a try this week. Upvote from me!
This sounds promising, @cosbgn! I'm curious about how the new UI/UX specifically enhances user experience. Also, what kind of feedback have you received from the SEO agencies using it? Would love to know!
@isabellarosewilson so RankWeek is not really really easy to get started. Before if you were a SEO expert you could get it to work, now even someone who has never heard of SEO can get RankWeek up and running in minutes. We use colors (Red=bad, green=good) to make it super easy! We have some feedback in the homepage, but mainly they immediately get a boost on indexed pages and traffic after using RankWeek
Congratulations @cosbgn on the amazing updates to RankWeek! 🎉 The new UI/UX sounds like a game-changer for users, and the speed improvements are sure to enhance the overall experience. Can't wait to see how these features improve our SEO efforts. Keep up the great work!
Hey, interesting idea, but what about other search engines like Bing and Yahoo, do you plan to include those, also does this tool store any of my website data, just wondering 🤔
Nice tool but why limit it to just Google, wouldn’t it be better if it worked with other search engines too, also how reliable is the automatic monitoring part, seems like a lot could go wrong there
