I've been using Raycast as my MacOS launcher for years now, and it's become an integral part of my setup. I have written two custom extensions for my personal use cases, and the developer API is absolutely incredible and easy to use — and the community is super helpful!

Congratulations on the launch! As a long-time fan of Raycast, I’ve found it to be an indispensable tool that has made my life so much easier. I’m thrilled to hear that there’s now a paid version available, and I’m definitely interested in signing up for Raycast Pro.
I remember asking about a paid version early on because I wanted to make sure that the company would continue to thrive for the long haul. With the launch of Raycast Pro, I’m excited to see what the future holds.
While I’m sure you’ve already considered this, I wanted to suggest a Basic/Core tier with Sync at a lower price point for those who want to support your efforts and keep Raycast as a part of their daily routines. Thank you for all that you do, and keep up the great work!

Nice product! What AI model are you using for Raycast AI? I checked and it looks like it's ChatGPT 3.0?
@tranmautritam It's a mix of GPT 3, GPT 3.5-Turbo, and some other models. GPT 4 will come later.
Raycast is an all-in-one app, I got it. How does AI help with productivity, in a few words?
@igorpavlov I can speak for myself. I use it for those things daily:
- Fix my spelling and grammar (I'm a non-native english speaker)
- Improve my writing for blog posts, etc.
- Ask programming questions, e.g. how to build XYZ
- Ask one-off questions about pretty much anything without opening Google
I haven't used ChatGPT much before because I had to open a separate tab. With Raycast, I have AI available anywhere, anytime.
@thomaspaulmann Ah, so the AI bit is supporting AI platforms, not AI choosing which tools are better for you / analysing your productivity? Sorry, I am genuinely interested in using Raycast and would like to know more before I am commited.
