We have created a new way for you to use OpenAI's GPT3 in your notes. You can use it to summarize articles, make your writing better, write emails, tweets, suggest article titles, and more.
Hello hunters - it's good to be back.
Last year, we released Reflect, our note-taking app, on Product Hunt and it was one of the most highly rated products of that month. Since then, we've been continuously improving Reflect. Today we are launching a new OpenAI integration that allows you to access GPT directly from your notes.
We have some pre-made prompts that help you do things like:
- Summarize a large body of text
- Make a list of action items from a meeting
- Check spelling and grammar
- Rewrite something in simpler language
- Create summaries of articles
- Come up with titles for essays
- Generate content for Tweets and emails
To use our AI palette, simply select some text inside of Reflect and press Command J (or Control on Windows).
We are also releasing our prompts - so you can use them in your own apps, or suggest more to us.
If you haven't used Reflect before we offer a two-week free trial. If you have any questions, as them here or on our Discord.
Oh and one thing I forgot to mention: custom prompts.
While we have some pre-defined custom prompts, you can also type anything custom into our AI palette. For example, try selecting some text and prompting the AI to "rewrite as a pirate".
Great product
Started using it and feel very comfortable with the layout and options
Imported 190 notes from markdown and it worked perfectly
Bit worried about losing the passwords although I have secured them
Looking forward to using the AI element
Awesome product!
I was literally looking for an AI notes app but couldn't find a good one. Can't wait to try it out!
I have one feature suggestion, and I am not sure if it is possible to do, but:
I usually have one Note open throughout the day and just input every thought that I have in there. It would be nice if an AI could structure my thoughts from one note into separate notes by detecting context and sorting them out for me.
Do you think that this could be a possible feature in the future? It would save me a lot of time since I am spending every single evening structuring my mess :D
Amazing product, surprisingly I was thinking of something like that when using chat gpt and now looking on product hunt it's there, thanks! How long did take you guys to develop this?
