Nowadays, everybody is leading, and number #1 :)
The features you're presenting as features that distinguish it from others, I believe is not true, from responsive to scrapping, updating to emails, many boards have the same, some of them have much more reach.
You have a solid user interface, that's true. I always have a thing for Sofia Pro. But you are listing remote jobs, that have geographic restrictions, not fully remote. I read something like;
"What you're experiencing right now isn't remote work. It's working from home during a pandemic: It's stressful, for your health (mental and physical) but also for your job situation."
Things will change, companies will change their perception and not all for remote working and call people back from their homes. Leaving all the trails of various listings.
APIs and scrapping for a interface is not the solution here. The success for this approach must be from the perspective of many jobs people acquired through a board, how do we help them on the process and build a bridge between remote first companies and their fully-distributed teams.
Other then that, we're just adding more to the noise. Good luck.
Great design and the site looks colorful and lively :)
One question, apart from a cheaper job post fee, in what ways its different or more beneficial than remoteok.io considering the traction that remoteok already has?
Question came up because remoteok also does the features listed above like mobile optimized, aggregate data from multiple job boards, updated regularly, email list etc.
@harish_annam Thank you and thats a great question. What differentiates us from Remoteok is a few things - build for mobile, more jobs posted and our social reach - we run a Twitter network of over 220k followers, we also have partnerships with some big Instagram design accounts who help us increase our reach too.
I am sorry for being a bit harsh, but how come you are a leading dashboard and I have never heard about you? How come you are leading yet have to scrape data from elsewhere (illegal in some countries for sure). False marketing + being shady = big no from me. There is no innovation, no new approach, and design is worse than with existing job boards. Ahhh, why do I have to be so negative today? Now I hate myself.
