Upvoting as I'm the target market for this and love that the niche is being addressed. Honest feedback of my first thoughts though: - How do I trust this product to do my accounting for me? - You don't have the proof of time like Xero or Freeagent, so there's got to be some kind of other trust signal eg: > Do any of the founders have accounting experience or are accredited? > Is there any insurance / guarantee of compensation if there are any accounting errors in the system? Address these concerns and you're on to a winner I think.

@iamfledge Hi Edward, Thanks for your comments and feedback! I'm glad you like the niche being addressed. We definitely found there is a need for it in the Timetracking market. I completely understand your concerns as I expect similar levels of trust and guarantees when it comes to my businesses accounting, however, we're not accounting software and so do not require such stringent checks. We will build integrations with Xero and Freshbooks that will allow users to push their timeslips and invoices into their preferred accounting software. This means we handle the business side of things and let the professionals handle the accounting. We focus more on the day-to-day running of a remote freelance business. Tracking time, invoicing and project management. The goal is to help you save time and manage your business to a professional level, deliver value to your clients and build trust with people in different countries. Thanks again for your comment! It's a really important point you've addressed! Let me know if you have any other questions

Looks interesting but it would be great to explain on your website if the price is for the whole team/organization or per each user?
Alex Price
@meshoo12 Hey Ahmed. RemoteOne is designed for freelances (sole-traders). So we don't currently support teams. The price is simply for a single user account. Soon we'll be introducing collaborators which will allow freelancers to join forces and work on bigger projects. If you have any other questions, please let me know!

Great job! Looks awesome

Was introduced to RemoteOne by its creator, Alex, and really enjoyed the organization of the app. It’s rare to see a simple idea executed on like this—not a bunch of stuff you don’t want/need tacked on. It does what it says does and looks great.

Pros:

Easy to understand UI, simple feature set, immediately useful. Built by a great guy, too!

Cons:

Nothing to report.

Danielle Thompson

Super excited to use this product. Love the intention behind each feature. Many freelancing, invoicing tools are just that - tools. This product is focused on building trust with your clients and helping freelancers understand what their time is worth. I can really get behind this - awesome job!

Pros:

Look easy to use, mindfully designed

Cons:

Can't find any yet

This is great! I’ve been looking for a new invoicing software for a while. Thought about making my own... maybe now I don’t have to.
Alex Price
Hey @zack_perdue ! Thanks for checking us out. If you have any questions about the platform please let me or @joe_simmons know :)

I've always sucked at tracking my time. I couldn't find a tool that was both reliable and that fit the way my brain works. RemoteOne is the perfect fit for me. It's extremely intuitive to use and beautifully designed. Now instead of dreading tracking my time, I enjoy it.

Pros:

Time tracking that works the way my brain works

Cons:

None

👋👋👋 Hey PH! Thanks @jamesstewart for the hunt!! RemoteOne is a time tracking and invoicing tool for remote freelancers 🌎 Last year I took my freelance business on the road and worked from Singapore, Malaysia and Bali. Since then I've worked with clients from the US and Europe and every time I work with someone who isn't in the same location as me I have the same 3 problems: ⏰Either my client or I routinely miss calls because of mis-calculated timezone differences 💰Converting currencies is laborious and prone to mistakes 🗣️Communicating project updates and getting feedback is difficult because of their location That's why I've spent the last 9 months building RemoteOne. To fix these problems in a tool that I use every day - my time tracker. RemoteOne automatically converts currencies, calculates timezone differences and updates my client with a real-time project dashboard. It also has all of the features you'd expect from a time-tracking app: simple time logging, automatic invoicing and powerful reporting. I'll be online all day so please ask questions about the app and write any feedback below. I'll try and get back to you asap! Cheers, Alex 🚀 🚀 🚀
