Resoume is a platform where you can create a beautiful website, portfolio and resume for your next job interview. It is also the biggest project I worked on as a solo frontend developer with joy, love, sweat and tears π β€ οΈπ¦ π₯Ί
@ericfettner
I have taken ATS into consideration but ATS are differently implemented and not all of them are able to parse PDFs. But you will not get rejected most of the time because of ATS. Most companies canβt afford to lose talent and will make the effort to check resumes that were disqualified due to ATS. Sure FAANG might not have that problem but I am pretty sure they can parse a PDF correctly π
I signed up through my google account and paid money for Essential package. I have started working on my resume with out the water mark . After 2 days, it says, the account is not recognized and I don't have access to my resume nor anything else . Can you look into this ASAP keerthika/koka@gmail.com is my gmail account .
Love beautiful simplicity of the design - especially the landing page!
Everything is super polished, and there is even a pretty product video.
Huge props for pulling this off as a solo maker!
Had a play through, and wrote up my thoughts here: https://twitter.com/yangpten/sta...
Resoume is a project I have been working on for a bit over a year now. You may know the last post from me (or not) β
It started as a resume builder but the bigger picture I had in mind was a platform to build your online presence for the job search.
Here are some of the new features:
- 14 New Beautifully Designed Templates
- A Personal Website Builder
- Analytics For Your Online Applications And Website
- Job Board
- CNAME and A Record Support
- White-Label Solution For Companies
I love to work on Resoume and I think you can tell by just looking at it π₯°
@gobie_nanthakumar well I have been using Resoume for almost half a year now and I have had great reactions from all my colleagues and employers regarding the look and design of my resumes. And not only resumes, you can make a personalized website and put all of your achievements in separate pages. I have been very satisfied with the options and templates that Resoume offers. From this month I will also use the upgrade to have my domain, actualy my own :) Thanks Gobie!
Great product! Got my website under my own domain up in no time and it looks super nice. You can tell from the nifty features and overall look that a lot of effort and love went into Resoume π
Congrats on your project! Looks amazing!
One feature I would like to see is a social element where you can connect with former coworkers based off job history matches π
Really well-designed, considering it was developed by one man only. Love its look and feel. For creating an online CV is the best out there (the job tracker needs more work though π). Overall it's neat and simple to use. Keep the great work up!!π
The Analytics portion is really interesting --- great work.
Can you store multiple PDFs so that you can create and save resumes for specific job posts (changing words, achievements, etc.)?
@conner_writt hey Conner, I was thinking about something like that but storing data with a lifetime deal doesnβt go well together. So it might be possible with a subscription but then again, most people donβt want a subscription for a resume builder.
Looks really great and there's been a lot of care and detail put into the design.
However, there are some SERIOUSLY frustrating UI issues that nearly made me go HULK SMASH my keyboard through my monitor -- so this isn't necesarily something I would use immediately (I'll stick with Cake Resume).
But, that doesn't mean that I wouldn't purchase the Beyond package with the hopes that some of these initial growing pains will be cleared up over time. Yes, it is really that good looking.
