About six years ago, I struggled to find a simple, straightforward, non-scammy resume builder, so I created my own.
Fast forward to today, and not much has changed in the market - it's even gotten worse. This has reignited my desire to work on ResumeMaker.Online again.
ResumeMaker.Online was always set apart from other resume builders for its no-nonsense approach.
I started this project as a hobby, not primarily to make money. That's why I never minded not having a sign-up form so I can then bombard users with emails, or making users fill in their entire resume only to find out they have to pay at the end β practices that are, frankly, shameless and all too common in other resume builders.
I genuinely don't mind offering a free download (albeit with a watermark) because it's truly fulfilling to see people find a job, return, and happily opt for the paid version when they're ready to go for a promotion and look for an even better job.
Lately, I have been very busy working on aiCarousels 2.0, but ResumeMaker.Online kickstarted my entrepreneurial journey and it's endearing to me because it can genuinely help people improve their lives. That's why I've decided to find a way to set time aside and give it a proper update.
I improved all aspects of it, it is all 100% new code, and I am extremely happy with the results.
One of the key updates in ResumeMaker.Online 4.0 is the "AI Resume Import" feature. This allows users to upload an old resume and enhance it with just one click.
It's not only a way to import your resume into an attractive template, it also improves your professional summary (or creates one if you don't have it), organizes your work experience into bullet points for easier reading, and analyzes the resume to identify and add relevant skills in the skills section.
Now, I can confidently say once more time that ResumeMaker.Online is the easiest, most straightforward, no-BS resume builder available, and I would love for you to give it a try.
It looks great and easy to use. What is the need trying to cover though? Doesn't everyone have a resume already? We're actually developing a next-gen ATS powered by AI. Could be great to partner!
Fantastic achievement! Congratulations on launching the resume-building app. Your team's efforts will undoubtedly empower individuals in crafting professional and impactful resumes. Best wishes for the app's success! ππ
