Rize is a time tracker that makes you more productive. It helps you be more in control of your workday and builds better habits by encouraging you to be more focused and more efficient. Now available on Windows as well as macOS.
Loving the Windows Rize beta—does its job effortlessly, and doesn't get in my way while I work. I like that it lets me know how long I've been working and suggests breaks, and the time tracking is super accurate (can create custom categories as well).
Hello everyone!
Last May, we launched Rize on macOS only (https://www.producthunt.com/post...), and the response was so overwhelmingly positive that we had to prioritize building a Windows app. After several months of hard work, we're finally happy to share our first public release of Rize for Windows users!
Rize is different from other time trackers because we use time tracking as a means to understand your focus time and how to improve it. The value of deep work is becoming both increasingly valuable and rare in our world. To cultivate deep work, we need to understand how our habits affect how much time and attention we spend on our tasks
You'll be able to finally answer some of the following questions with actionable data:
✅ How much uninterrupted focus time am I getting?
✅ What apps or websites are distracting me the most?
✅ How much do meetings take away from my productivity?
✅ How often am I context switching?
✅ Am I working too much and not taking enough breaks?

Feel free to join our public Discord community where most of our users hang out to chat about Rize-related or general productivity-related topics: https://discord.gg/6FSPeebZDj
As of now, our Windows app supports URL detection and categorization in Google Chrome, Brave Browser, Firefox, and Edge. Any requests for browser integrations can be made in our Discord server or via email.
Thank you to all of our beta testers who helped us get to where we are today, and thank you to all the Product Hunt supporters from our original launch. We couldn't have done it without you. 🙏🏽
I know how much time and thought Macgill and Will have put into designing and developing this product. I'm so proud of them and so excited for all the new users to benefit from the tool. Welcome to a new world of productivity management!
I have been using Rize for a few months now (Mac) and I could not be more happy with the daily accountability system it provides. Happy Windows users can have it, too!
Such an incredible tool that helps me mentally work out my day and time every day. Rize has allowed me to take time to walk away from my desk and really compartmentalize what is important and what needs to be done. Congrats on the launch! Excited to see where this goes next!
This is one of those foundational products that has changed how i perceive and operate my day to day job responsibilities. Rize has helped me both in my forward looking planning and daily/weekly review of how my time has been spent in a day. Its allowed me to cut short or re optimize my schedule to better increase focus blocks and overall productivity in my day. Rize is a game changer for any overly busy PM, Engineering Manager, CEO.
Thank you so much, @johnnywu! We love the fact that Rize is starting to become a crucial part of several people's productivity stack. Definitely let us know how we can continue improving the product.
Rize is a phenomenal product. It's helped me discover, monitor, and improve my work habits to increase productivity and minimize burnout. Can't recommend it enough!
Congrats on the launch! Love the design and I find myself getting into a flow state more often since I started using Rize.
Features I especially like:
- easy to see stretches of focus time and how much of the day I've spent focused
- shortcut to maximize/minimize Rize for a quick productivity check is so useful
- customization is intuitive and robust without being overwhelming eg: can customize break lengths, categories, and work days
@mario_sukkar thank you so much. I'm glad you're finding improvements with focus since using Rize. Definitely let us know if you have any suggestions to improve it.
