I've seen so many attempts to recreate the magic of turntable.fm over the years. This is the best version I've seen, in large part because it's built for today (mobile, AirPod-friendly). Curious what's next on the roadmap (no pun intended), @mazzeo and @sgawb. 🤔

Hey team! Quick backstory: Brian and I have been building products together on the weekends for years just for fun. We both loved Turntable and that feeling of jamming out together and felt like it was time to bring back some of those old feels with a few new twists. Also, Brian has 100x better taste in music than me so I needed a new way to up my music game. While building we’ve found that it made long commutes, working out, or days when you were traveling a little less lonely. When I started a party the songs on my playlist played in shuffle. Is this the default setting or am I doing something wrong?

Spotify Premium only. 😕 I bet I’m the only person my age with Apple Music, but is there any compatibility planned In the near future for Apple Music? Or will it remain exclusively Spotify?

@mazzeo used to have access to the beta but I can’t see on TestFlight anymore. Possible to get added again?

I enjoyed the beta! Also, I liked the concept of going live with some jams with only audio and no video :)

Guys, is it possible to make the app available in international App Stores? Or does it have to do with copyright laws, etc?

Commutes do suck. I try to avoid as much as possible but music has a way of making the time fly. Congrats on launch - Excited to give this a go.

I think it is definitely in the right direction for socialization of streaming and I see the homage to Turntable.fm but it lacks the collaborative element a streaming app needs. Are you building out the ability to collaborate on these playlists?

Love the concept - a couple thoughts... While I'm one of those people with a subscriptions to both Apple and Spotify, I mostly use Apple Music. Would be nice to choose either to drive playlists. Needs a way to name a session and easier to surface from like-minded listeners... Overall, really nicely done. Look forward to the evolutiion.

Well, thx for creating an app I want to use but can't. It is impossible to create an account unless you are a US citizen or uses Facebook since both the app and the web site don't accept what my phone or zip code :( Too sad.

Any plans on making it available for Android? It takes me back to when I used Grooveshark (RIP) for this, with live radios being maintained by some random dude and you're just like "well, let's see what comes next", sounds really promising.

Love this! There should prob be a way for users to save the songs they're listening to on roadtrip to their spotify songs list or specific playlist(s) on spotify. Otherwise awesome app, will def be using :D

Nice! This is super sleek. I know it's probably a pain-in-the-ass UX- and tech-wise, but compatibility with Apple Music would be awesome.

@mazzeo nice to see this live! I loved the idea of listening and sharing music with friends. In fact, I sent the idea, related details and screenshots to Elias of Songza (remember that!) asking whether they could incorporate some parts. But, well, I got a typical "I'll think on this and see what makes sense given our focus." It was my go to app, but, didn't survive long. Happy to see you guys bringing this to life. Good luck!
