Does this only work for full body workouts? And are we able to enter arbitrary workouts into the app in case we are following a specific program?
Andrei Shaurko
@tombielecki It works for any workout. You can also do running or cycling, for example. What matters for the app is how it influences your heart (your ECG). And we will measure it for any sports. The app allows you to construct arbitrary workouts out of variety of exercises already included in our training module if you follow a specific program.

Wait! Why isn’t it available on the India Apple App Store ?
Anselme
Hello Tim, great idea and great to see product taking data from the apple watch. On the technical level I was wondering how you collect the ECG data from the watch as Apple is not offering it via its Sdk api? (Which is a scandal for researchers)
Chase Thompson
Damn! I was geeking out to try this, but I don't have an Apple Watch 4, just the 3. How many of the really great features will I miss out on?
Andrei Shaurko
@chaseth The main feature you will miss out is that feeling after having exercised at the right time 😃 The ECG delivers truly accurate assessment of training readiness divided into aerobic and anaerobic zones. Not only you can know WHEN to exercise, but also WHAT exercises are good for you at a given time.

Good luck team! What updates are you planning to introduce next?
Andrei Shaurko
@anya_pozniak Many thanks! 😉 Until now we've focused mainly on the metabolic level. In the next 2-3 months we will completely renew the training module. It will enable everyone to get so smart, highly individualized training plans no human trainer is able to offer today.

Hey, I'm Tim, CEO at RocketBody. After 6 months of hard work, we are happy to present the FIRST APP IN THE WORLD that makes use of the Apple Watch Series 4’s new ECG tracking feature. RoketBody uses AI to transform your ECG readings into real-time training recommendations. The app helps you attain your fitness goals faster by informing you when it’s optimal to workout. This cutting-edge technology changes the way people interact with smartwatches. It provides real-time coaching based on your metabolic rate and supercompensation - the perfect time to train. We know that there is a lot of work here. We are happy to get some feedback and we are ready for your questions. 😉

@timofei_lipsky Hi Tim, Will you release the app in The Netherlands?
Tim Lipsky
@rehman_a Hi! Yes, we will! But now we have some questions with GDPR :)
Tom Bielecki
@timofei_lipsky I don't see anywhere on the site that mentions Apple Watch integration, how does it compare to your own wearable? How often do you need readings to get an accurate model of supercompensation?
Tim Lipsky
@tombielecki Tom, thank you for your questions. By presenting an app that works with Apple Watch we want to highlight the following: no matter what gadget you take for ECG reading our algorithms will analyze the pure ECG signal. How often to take readings? The more readings the more personal prediction and recommendations you'll get. We recommend at least 4 readings a day - in the morning, in the evening, before and after workout.
Joey
@timofei_lipsky Hi Tim, Now the ECG function on the Apple Watch finally has been released here in the UK (since yesterday 🎉), would you consider extending the ProductHunt discount that you had on your release? Thanks!
Artem Valmus
Hey RocketBody! Go forth and conquer with your great product! Good luck!
Nicholas Delkeskamp
@timofei_lipsky The website to buy leads to indigogo which seems quite outdated and from October 2018. Is it still working if I buy through there? Also in the german AppStore I only can find the rocketbody lite app for my iphone. Is it not available in Germany yet?
Anatoly Corp
I suggest to use it every sportsman. I remember myself when I had 2 training a day, and 2 plays on the weekend. I didn't listen my body. With this app you will understand yourself!
Artsiom Patapovich
@anatolycorp Thank you for your support!
Daniel Pertsev
Absolutely great product 👍💪
Andrei Shaurko
Thanks @daniel_pertsev ! 😃 We'll keep working hard on it to add new useful features.
Hachem Hachem
Cool! Does it work on apple watch 3?
Andrei Shaurko
@hachem_hachem sorry, but not ( The app requires ECG readings available only in Series 4
Andrei Vitkouski
@hachem_hachem Not only Apple Watch 3, many other devices provide data such as heart rate and variability, for example. The app works with it. But the EKG algorithm provides more accurate and useful information.
Nathan Person
App looks good. Would like to see and use finished product with the Rocketbody wearable. Still waiting on mine from the Kickstarter backing. Hard to give feedback since I do not have an Apple Watch to use with this.
Vicky Lashuk
Cool! is it compatible with gym trainings?
Andrei Shaurko
Thank you @vicky_lashuk ! You can use our app for any kind of sports - gym, running, cycling. No matter what sports you do you will know how ready you are for heavy training or cardio.
Inna Khmelnitskaya
Tim, good work, great product ! Congratulations and wish big success!
Carlo Cruz
Have you considered integration with Emfit QS? Seems like an ideal set of users… @timofei_lipsky https://www.emfit.com
Andrei Shaurko
@timofei_lipsky @carlo_cruz thank you, we'll check it out!
