The Woman Who Smashed Codes by Jason Fagone is a historically rich book giving readers a glimpse into the foundations of the NSA. Elizebeth Smith Friedman and her husband William Friedman set the standards for modern cryptanalysis. As a woman Elizebeth rose above all gender stereotypes to help save her country. Great read!
I loved it.
Pros:Another hidden woman who broke so many molds and paved the way for women in science.
Cons:some might get lost in the historical details, there is so much information
