Safe, fast, and private - without ever leaving your browser. Compress your files quickly and share them easily with your friends, family and colleagues.
Hello, hello, hunters! First time launchers over here!👋
PDFs are used daily by many, many professionals and individuals around the world. However, it also turns out that they stumble across file size restrictions when it comes to sharing these files with their colleagues, clients and friends through email. Most of the time, they'll have to use compression tools online, which are far from secure and as a user, they will never really know where their confidential information ends up.
That's why we created SaferPDF Compress, a wonderful in-browser PDF compression tool. All compression happens within your device, keeping your files safe and small, without any risk of data leakage.
As a special thank you to the ProductHunt community for their warm welcome onto the platform, we're offering an exclusive 85% discount to all our subscriptions today only. Use the code "PRODUCTHUNT" and witness the compression magic happen. Join us on this exciting journey and share it with your fellow hunters.
We hope you enjoy it and would love to know your thoughts 😃

Hit the upvote keeping it all inside the browser is ultra-convenient, too.
But how does the compression affect the quality of the PDFs? And how about privacy—really private, as in 'eyes-only' private?
@aman_wen Hi Aman, thank you very much for giving SaferPDF Compress a try and upvoting us! We appreciate your support.
I've got a few technical explanations for you (feel free to ask more questions if it's unclear!):
To maintain the quality of your PDFs, we use Ghostscript with "-sDEVICE=pdfwrite",
"-dPDFSETTINGS=/ebook",
"-DNOPAUSE",
"-dQUIET",
"-dBATCH",
"-sOutputFile=output.pdf",
"input.pdf",
That ensures that our tool basically doesn't destroy the quality of images or any other elements generally found in PDFs.
And concerning the privacy, SaferPDF doesn't just "say" it keeps your files private. It actually does, because we never actually get your PDF files. The compression happens 100% in your browser thanks to a new browser technology called WASM.
Let us know if you have any other questions and thank you again for your upvote! :)
