Love the idea! I can definitely relate to the problem. I've seen many colleagues at my past employers not fully understanding / using all their benefits and effectively leaving money on the table. Employee stock options was one of the areas that was very confusing, it would be great if Sage could help with that at some point, too!
Milan
@katerina_opocenska Hey Katka, thanks so much for the idea and your support! Understanding ESOs and their value is definitely a pain point we've observed... We're looking at all benefits and explaining their value.
Eric Glover
@katerina_opocenska thanks for the feedback! as Milan said, our approach is holistic. For you, what tools do you wish we had specific to stock options or employee stock purchasing? Our system could easily link to benefits provided by other organizations to assist in understanding your financial decisions around stock options/purchases, as well as linking to lessons about it. In fact - on the benefit hub if you search for 'stock' we have related lessons about stock options - https://www.sage.guide/benefits/... links to two interactive lessons on the topic.

πŸ‘‹ Hey Product Hunters! Thanks for checking out Sage, a personalized benefits guidance app that helps you get the most out of all the benefits your work offers. Back Story πŸ“– We, at Sage, have been victims of benefits misuse: from forgoing a 401k employer match to avoiding high-deductible health plans like the plague and ignoring many voluntary benefits that our work offered. Unfortunately, this is way too common among employees β€” 75% admit they don't fully understand their benefits. The result is a huge benefits waste for both employees and employers. That's why we founded Sage. Our core belief is that benefits should be easy to understand and use for every employee. And companies should have a clear view of what benefits are most popular, how they're being used, and which new benefits would be most helpful to their employees β€” all based on data & analytics. The days of having to dig through hundreds of pages of PDFs to find out more about your pet or child care benefits are over! About the Product πŸ” Sage is a personalized benefits guidance platform that helps you discover and use your benefits. Our AI-based software guides you to get the most out of your work benefits, saving you time and money. By doing so, we help your employer increase benefits utilization and reduce benefits waste. Here is what we offer: βœ… All of your benefits in one place β€” health, wealth, wellness and perks βœ… Easy & intelligent search capability βœ… Personalized benefits guidance for you β€” powered by AI β€” at open enrollment and throughout the year βœ… A clear view of savings you could achieve by using your benefits βœ… Integration with HR systems so you can take action right away βœ… A benefits utilization, engagement and cost dashboard for your HR & finance team βœ… Benefits insights, trends and benchmarks for your executive team Getting in touch ✍🏾 If you’d like to see Sage at your work, or would you like to speak with our team, feel free to get in touch by emailing us at hi at sage dot guide. Please note that we're currently focused on the US market β€” though we do have plans for coverage of all geographies. Thank you πŸ™ Please share your comments and feedback below, we look forward to responding to them!

Congrats on the launch and super cool product! So many employees leave money on the table by not maximizing what benefits are offered.
Milan
@kent_mori Hey Kent, thanks for your support πŸ™I've also left a lot of money on the table by not caring or finding the time to review my benefits. Hope we can change that!
Chihee Kim
@kent_mori Thanks for checking us out Kent! In a market like we're in now, benefits are a low hanging fruit too many employees aren't taking advantage of. And employers can save a bunch too.
Eric Glover
@kent_mori Exactly! What is even more interesting is often when employees leave money on the table, the employer's are losing too! So interestingly, it is a mutually beneficial situation...
Ebru Kirimli
Congratulations on the launch! This looks like a new approach to work benefits tracking and guiding. A small note @mkovacev, in your first comment's "Back Story" part, you have repeated the paragraph twice - not a big deal, just in case you want to edit it ✨
Milan
@ebru_kirimli Thank you, Ebru, for encouragement, and yes, I will take care of this!
Gloria Jean
I have always wanted better benefits... it's agonizing how much money companies waste on benefits that noone knows about...
Milan
@gloria_jean I share your sentiment. Thanks for your support!

the idea is so great! However, just curious that if the numbers and information are suitable for those living outside of US?
Milan
@trung102 Actually our tech covers all benefits, but the demo is US specific.

Sage is an excellent resource for employees looking for a personalized benefits guide. The platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate, making it simple for employees to find the information they need. The personalized approach to benefits guidance is particularly useful, as it allows employees to find the options that are best suited to their individual needs. I appreciate the wide range of benefits that Sage covers, from health and wellness to financial planning and more. The fact that it's easily accessible and personalized, it makes it the perfect tool for employees to fully understand and take advantage of their benefits. Overall, I highly recommend Sage as a comprehensive and user-friendly benefits guide for employees.
Milan
@barneyishere Hey Sanjeet, thanks for this great review! Glad you liked it.
Raju Singh
This is such a cool platform. I think the benefits documentation and complete knowledge is all in disparate locations even in large organized setups. This can really come handly irrespective of the size of the organization.
Eric Glover
@imraju Thanks Raju for the support. You exactly hit on one of the big problems today - companies who offer many benefits, often end up having multiple different portals, apps, or other places (e-mail HR, company sent PDF files) employees need to go to find what they want. How do I get a nurse at 2AM for my kid? What benefits can help insure my pet? What is my current 401K contribution-level? Is tomorrow a company holiday? Our goal is to be the single starting point for all benefit-related questions and explorations, and from there - if needed - employees can be redirected to the right place. That could be an e-mail to HR, or to use a company offered concierge service, or a deeplink to some local doctor finder - specific for the employee's current health plan, etc... Feel free to reach out if you have any specific ideas or questions.
Raju Singh
@eric_glover precisely. I have been a victim of this too and these roles are rolling within large organizations and getting to the right person with the right information is as worse as googling it and you end up fiding old and new information with no change logs. Its such a tedious task for sure.
Uday Kiran Chaka
Very sleek and timely! Who doesn't want more value for their work? Great idea to reduce inefficiencies in the system. Personally, I would really like to have a comprehensive view of my/my family's finances, health and education plans, and project them till retirement and beyond. Does Sage integrate with personal finance aggregators like Mint and robo advisors like Wealthfront? Also, does the benefit history and decisions made "port" with you to the next job, whether or not they use Sage?
Milan
@udaykiranc Thank you Uday! We don't integrate with PFM tools, but it's something we've been thinking about. The history porting is something we can absolutely and are absolutely thinking about!
Allen Asagib
πŸ’‘ Bright idea
Love it! How do you get all the benefits data? My company has them all on a PDF...
Milan
@asagib1 From employers. We ingest all benefits docs a company has, process it, and then personalize recommendations to individual employees.
Robinson Crawford
Love this - there's a massive space for optimization where existing processes have failed users. Solid demo and can't wait to see it on real benefits too.
Milan
@robinson_crawford Thanks Robinson, appreciate your support!
Manas Sharma
@mkovacev Congrats on the launch, the product looks fab.
Milan
@manas_sharma Thanks, Manas. Glad you liked it!
Usama Ejaz
Congrats on the launch of Sage! Here's to making employee benefits easier and more accessible.
Milan
@usamaejaz Thank you Sir!
William
I feel the benefits are too complex and I don't spend enough time to maximize the value for myself. So I like what you're doing πŸ‘
Milan
@williamhilda Thanks William. Yes, indeed... benefits are too complex for most people.
pretty cool, even though it's only a demo, but it gives me a good sense of what your product is about
Milan
@colin_barry thanks Colin! Glad you find this useful.
Aine Stapleton
Really excited about this product and the team behind it!
Milan
@aine_stapleton Thanks so much, AineπŸ™
Chihee Kim
@aine_stapleton So grateful for your ongoing support Aine!
Eric Glover
@aine_stapleton Thanks Aine!
Manav Sharma
I really like the app, it feels slick, and yes I can use some help with my benefits
Milan
@manav_sharma1 Thanks, Manav, that's exactly why we made it! I can't tell you how frustrating it's been for me to comb through oodles of PDF pages to find what benefits I have. Happy Tuesday!
Heleana Grace
Congrats Milan, your website is beautiful!
Milan
@heleana thanks Heleana!
M Abdullah Mukhtar
Great idea man, it really is easy to overlook benefits you don’t use often.
Milan
@abdullahmukhtar Thank you! Yup, indeed... overlooking benefits is so commonplace.
