@fosteronomo I just checked builtwith, so it seams to me that they are just working with a script to read the source code of the website. Sales.Rocks is similar, but offers way more. It's not just the domain, but our database is company oriented, so it connects the domain with a registered entity and gives you not only the technologies, but also all other data (legal, organizational and contact). Give it a go and you'll see what I'm talking about :D Let me know what you think.
@carstenbroich@che_madzov it was our primary idea to create all-in-one Sales Enablement Platform and we combined it with the latest technologies to really give value to data.
@vjekoskarica Germany should be joining the list beginning of the next Quarter. You can check the progress of the databases here: https://sales.rocks/product-road....
I'll personally get in touch with you once we have it! Happy to have you on board π
@jana_c Thats cool, but you missed a big element of showing us your Tech-Stack.
You shouldn't have made users signup first ! bcz i was expecting to see the tech stack 1st and the reason is already mentioned on your PH title name. (just a suggestion)
I believe you would have generated traffic of atleast 1000+ unique users and drop offs might be at the stage of signups!
Since that strategy was a little distracting for me asking my every information while signing in, you could have first given a slight preview of how the stack looks like or a free curated list of companies who use particular stacks.
Please change the user onboarding page since thats why you lost many unique users on your platform.
The process should be:
Redirect users from PH > Sales.rock
Option1 : A preview of 10 companies tech stack > on clicking it once viewing the stack >on clicking another company> request for sign in with simple company email id.
Option 2: Free curated directory companies with open tech stacks they use. It generates pretty lot traffic and also helps you boost good SEO ranking in Google.
Post the customer has signed in, once they start to get use to the flow, request each information like Full name to send the customer personalized email with a lead magnet that could get his attention. (1 strategy that you can work on)
Just a few suggestions and some strategy you might find it useful.
I value your efforts on creating such an amazing tool but product placement was the key for you through community like Product Hunt.
FYI, these are some suggestions from my perspective, it varies from user to user.

@iamvarunnair I find your thoughts here very constructive Varun, and we basically have planned most of the features you mention here. However we are still working on connecting our database with our online presence and we are hoping to have some try-before you buy features by Q2 like chrome plugin, company previews and similar (we started implementing this with company pages as well). I would suggest you to visit our roadmap, when you have the time and check out if there is anything we need to add. I would really appreciate your thought on that. And thank you for your honest feedback here, we need people like you to get better at what we do. Cheers!
Looks interesting, especially knowing what tech stack a company uses, will try this out! Also, I noticed some small details on your landing page, I left comments here that I hope is useful to you - https://app.usebubbles.com/fd65b...
@tom4 this is very nice! thank you I find this app very useful and will take into consideration your comments. Would you like to give you your thought on the registration process as well?
Firstly, special thanks to @kevin for hunting us and giving us his support!
@carstenbroich and @ana_elektraska and I want to introduce you to the Sales.Rocks Tech-Stack, an addition to our Company Search module on the Sales.Rocks Platform.
We were working on a quite extensive company database that reveals all of the web-technologies used by a company.
And, are quite excited to say we have mapped more technology fields than any other European b2b database out there. π
More than 5000 Web-Technologies are mapped to your potential client lists.
You can use the Tech-Stack to filter companies from 21 European countries and get targeted lists as a result.
In addition, you can download or export them directly into your CRM for direct email or phone reachout.
What to expect:
π’ 71 Million Company records
βοΈ 5000+ Web-Technologies
ποΈ Advanced filtering system
π€ Full company profiles ready to download or export
We have reserved 50 Credits for all PH users to download their first lists.
Iβll be around and excited for your questions and feedback β
Share them with me!
@peters8 thanks for asking, and yes it is planned. You can check out our details roadmap on our website sales.rocks/product-roadmap . Also more features are coming soon, so stay tuned!
@ethanhayley the filter can give an output of more than 5000 technologies in different tech groups. Let's say you want to target companies that use a specific CMS (website software) like Wordpress or Wix. You can choose the CMS filter with a combination of the Widgets and Plugins filter and have a very specific output. Try it out on https://app.sales.rocks/ and check out the tech sub-categories.
@allenbates by using the latest technologies we are able to detect pretty much most of the technologies. So, basically the accuracy depends on the real source of the company.
@kelleycooke very good and often asked question. I wouldn't go here with percentage, but with a simple explanation :) The company data in our database is dynamically gathered from different sources, than verified with custom scripts, then matched and enriched and push to the end user. We run updates before every Quarter, and make sure we have fresh data coming into the database. Hope this explains the reliability of the info we provide. You can check it out Kelly and let me know. Thanks!
@kelleycooke we are currently working on getting in the contact data as well. I can delegate 20 credits for you on the platform. The module is in BETA though.
@ronaldholman1 there is an option for sure! just register with your email and you'll automatically open your account with 50 credits, renewed each month.
@markmiles8 there is no limit to the search of companies, but in order to get the full technographics info you'll need to export them. With the search you'll get a preview of all companies you've filtered, and you can select the ones that you need for an export. Only then, credits will be conducted from your account. Try it out with the 50 credits we give today on PH.
@felixlindner1 this a new way of segmenting audience, so once you reach out to a potential client you will know exactly who to target and both of you can benefit from it.
@maxkrause yes you can! We just cut-off your manual work to do so. All of the gathered data is publicly available and you can choose specific filters go get your target as detailed as possible. Thanks for your review Max!
@leometzger thanks for your feedback! we started adding different filters in the database in order to get most detailed output for a company. Join with your account and let me know if you find everything you need in your first search.
