Hey all! I've worked as a Software Engineer in enterprise and startup companies such as Auth0 where I saw many features being built that were not needed. Companies are wasting time building things based on opinions, anecdotes, the weakest form of evidence. To claim we 'know' something, we need experiments, the scientific method. Combine this empirical method of knowledge with qualitative feedback and you get one of the highest forms of evidence you can have in any field of study. We need to bring this to Product Development and the best way we see how is to utilize AB + Painted Doors + Microsurveys for conducting experiments right within your product. How does it work? - Copy the script to your website and let it learn. - Setup the experiment (how the fake door should look, choose from a list of templates, or use your own HTML) - Publish the experiment to a segment of your users and let it run. - Receive the results with conversion rate + feedback on whether or not to build your idea. Feel free to reach out to me to talk more about product validation using first principles with the scientific method!

This is powerful to any startup or MVP.. Do you plan on integrating with other tools like Zapier? I would love to be able to connect to Google Sheets for example
Shawn Mclean
@matt_bell1 Yep. Piping the data off to Zapier is one of the first methods of reporting we did, since we didn't want to build a backend. All our events of the experiment, including views, conversion rates and the feedback can be sent to any service you have.

Hey everyone, I'm so excited to share what my team and I have been building with you! There's a massive gap between understanding what users want and building what they want; this is why we created this Painted Door Experiment creator; to allow users to test new features without writing a single line of code. All feedback is welcome! We're slowly onboarding users, so please reserve your spot, and we'll let you know when it's ready. We're amped to help each and every one of you to build better products by getting the right feedback, faster!
