Designed with the serious filmmaker in mind, the SANDMARC Anamorphic lens allows you to shoot cinematic videos. Crafted from best-in-class optical glass and high-grade aluminum taking your iPhone filmmaking to a new level.
@202accepted Very interested in a full comparison of quality/output as well.
At a glance, the SANDMARC iPhone XS Anamorphic Lens is $159.99, which gets you the lens itself and lens case.
The equivalent setup from Moment is a $149.99 anamorphic lens + $39.99 iPhone photo case ($189.98).
Moment have their own app for photo & video with manual controls and RAW support that desqueezes footage ($5.99), while SANDMARC just recommend using any third-party app (presumably Moment's would work)
@iamsebj Yup, and seeing the features of the moment app it looks like they have a more solid ecosystem as well.
Another key thing I heard from asking friends is that the mounting system (Twist/Lock) for Moment is a lot more solid than SANDMARC's which is a consideration.
