Hi Product Hunt community! I'm Jens Jacob, CEO and co-founder of Saturation. With over 12 years of experience as a film & event producer, I faced challenges using outdated tools and systems in the production industries. I often felt like I was going into the film industry to be creative and tell great stories as a film producer and ended up an accountant trying to manage the production's finances. The biggest problem was the gap in company level management and production level management that lead to more human hours often rentering manual data 2 - 3 times in different places. I always thought "they" would come up with a new tool (whoever "they" were) I got tired of waiting and started to ideate and design my own. Which birthed Saturation—a design-focused, intuitive solution for producers & production companies of all levels. I believe in making tools accessible for everyone, especially those starting out, like myself, without a formal film school background. That's why we offer an always-free version of our app.

I got a full demo last week and I'm super impressed and very excited. As a Producer and EP working primarily in the commercial space, this is solving so many headaches and pain points. UI is super clean and easy to navigate, and lots of little touches that show this was a product built by people who have been in the production trenches. Also got a very early sneak peak at some killer future items the team is working on. Lots of big things to come from Saturation.

I know this app is mainly for film producers but I actually saw the word “budgeting” and I am currently using it for wedding planning. Also, there were some things I got stuck on and the support team helped me walk through to get what I was looking for! I already see this app becoming even bigger!

After years of working with archaic production budgeting software, Saturation combines the industry needed budgeting staples with modern offerings and a pleasing design. Collaboration with others, integration with various products and services, and various and a lighting fast platform, only scratches the surface of what makes Saturation the #1 tool for Producers and Production Managers alike. I highly recommend checking out what they are doing. It's only going to get better!

Oh, that's huge! My wife is a film producer, sending it to her straight away! I myself am not, but I heard stories of what film production really is. A big mess basically, almost nothing goes as planned. By looking at the UI I can say it looks nice and clean and can help with organising the process, looks pretty agile! Great stuff guys!

A lot of software comes along claiming to be revolutionary, but this one genuinely is. Bravo, team!!
