Voicegram by Sayspring — Record and share conversations with Alexa from the browser
Featured
6

Voicegram by Sayspring allows anyone to record and share a conversation with Amazon Alexa from a web browser, no device needed. Voicegrams can be shared on social networks or embedded on a web page, all for free.

This is the second of three Product Hunt launches coming this month from Sayspring.

Sharing a conversation with Amazon Alexa usually starts with shooting a shaky video on your phone while talking to an Echo device. That video then needs to be uploaded somewhere before it can be shared with others. When you're a voice designer or developer working on an Alexa project, this low-quality approach isn't ideal. So our team at Sayspring (design/prototyping software for voice interfaces) created Voicegram, which lets anyone talk to Alexa directly in the browser and record the conversation. That conversation can then be shared as a video across social media, blog posts, or portfolio pages. We initially started building this just for Sayspring users, but decided to offer it to everyone to help drive discussion about what makes great voice experiences. This is the second of three launches we have planned for the Product Hunt community this month. The next one is going to be exciting for the world of voice UI/UX design, so keep an eye out.

@markcwebster Good stuff! One question: can I test the skill I'm currently developing? I couldn't invoke my skill the same way I do on Echosim..
Mark C. Webster
@teawaterwire If you're logging in with the same Amazon account, you should be able to invoke it the same way. Send us a tweet at @sayspring if you're still having trouble.

Very helpful. Would it also come with textual transcription so collaborators can identify word/phrase choices and visually see the interaction flow?
Mark C. Webster
@peterpeterwang There is still a lot more to come from Voicegram ;)
