The entire value prop relies on making it easy for people to donate but in reality, people need to have the Scan app (or something similar) installed. QR codes are awkward, especially for "normals."
This is decent marketing for Scan but I'm skeptical it will lead to significant donations. Happy to be proven wrong. :)
Scan has had huge success with their native social codes (FB, Twitter, etc) and now its time to see if they can do the same with their donation and payment codes. I'll take that bet.. (whoops .. already did :)
