Hi @matthieudeluze, thanks for the feedback. We only use the tracks you favorited. We analyze how the music you like sounds (more details here : http://niland.io/technology). From there, we build a simple user model. We then gather tracks that should fit in your musical space and build a playlist.

My name is Johan and I work for niland.io (music search & reco engines based on Content analysis). We are very happy to show you our Scarlett twitter bot.
Tweet @AppScarlett your Soundcloud profile link (or a profile you like) and this bot will make you a personalized playlist.
We thought LazySet was an amazing idea so we decided to do the same for the Soundcloud content. We thought that it will be even cooler to personalize the playlist to your taste.
Every time users ask for a playlist, we analyze the musical structures present in the songs they favorited. We then craft a playlist finding other songs on Soundcloud that possess similar traits (using content-based technology and deep learning).

Dope! Here is my playlist ( http://t.co/QJn3igCR6k ) A frictionless experience except when it came to creating my account initially/ saving my playlist (more details below). I would love to have the ability to favorite tracks on my Scarlett playlist and have them write back to my Soundcloud Favorites list instead of having to navigate to the SoundCloud track page in a separate tab to do this.
Unfortunately I did run into an issue in my eagerness to explore the tool - I setup an account independently whilst I was waiting for the Twitter bot to generate my playlist - then when I clicked the "Start your Scarlett" CTA, I was taken to the signup/login screen where I inputted the username and password I had just created. To my dismay I am not able to log in, instead, I just see the error message "User account is disabled" now?
The recommendation engine is pretty awesome - the bot generated playlist is every bit as eclectic as my music taste - and there are only three artists whose work I was already familiar with. Other than that I really like the simple, clean UI and functionality (although I do think the player buttons are a little too unobtrusive). Awesome job guys!

As you might have seen, the Scarlett app is still in beta, and the message you have seen when you tried to login means that your account isn't ready yet.
Every new user coming in the app need some time to train our AI to fit your tastes as good as possible before you can login.
As I just saw, your account have been prepared in the meantime, you should have recieved an email inviting you to join the beta :)
