scite visualizations allow you to explore an interactive citation network using scite's smart citations showing the citation context and a classification about whether this citation provides supporting or disputing evidence.
Hello, co-founder and CEO of scite here!
scite is a new platform introducing "Smart Citations"– citations that allow users to see how a scientific paper has been cited by providing the context of the citation and a classification describing whether it provides supporting or disputing evidence for the cited claim. We do this by analyzing millions of scientific articles, extracting the citation context, and then classifying the citation statement as supporting or disputing using a deep learning model that has been trained on roughly 50,000 annotated citation statements.
To date, we have analyzed over 20M full-text publications and extracted and analyzed 689M citation statements.
We're excited to announce the release of scite Visualizations, which we built to help researchers and anyone interested in research to explore the scientific literature.
We'd love feedback on how we could improve these visualizations and what users would like to see.
In addition to visualizations, we've also made our smart citations badge freely available so that users can embed our information on their own websites (scite.ai/badges). You can see various integrations below:
