@ldenoue Hey Laurent, congratulations on such a creative app.
I just recorded (yesterday) a screencast presenting a partnered SaaS to my audience and I would have loved to had something like this for the video. I'll be trying it next time for sure! (Upvoted of course) π
We just launched our PRO access as a lifetime deal for only $7.99 to get unlimited video exports! Based on your feedback we improved the animations and added a "snap to grid" function to place points more regularly.
Hi Laurent! I have been using your product for a few weeks now. I discovered it on Twitter and I use it for all my video demos now. I really love it and it's one of my fav tools recently. 2 things I would love to see are:
- selfie webcam to have my face somewhere on the screen when demoing the product
- story video format like video to post some of the video on social media
Thank you for this amazing product!

This looks great - I'll give it a try for my product demo. Obvious bit of feedback is that it would be ace to capture camera and audio too and let that be embedded in a corner for a walkthrough.
I'll try and use it soon to give some actual usage feedback!
This is a true gem among applications! It focuses solely on solving real-world problems, without relying on the gimmicks of chatbots or the flashy wrappers on top of AI. This app is simple, offering all the necessary features and customization options one could possibly desire. Its developer responds with astonishing speed, delivering quick implementation of requests. I wholeheartedly recommend this app to all in search of efficient and effective solutions for demos and videos.
I definitely see this being used for product demos/tutorials! It's much nicer to show videos using screenshots/screen recording rather than just a Google doc or a PPT presentation. Great idea, congrats on the launch!
@heleana Thank you Heleana. You gave me an idea: drag and drop an existing slide deck and animate each page. Currently ScreenRun only supports one screenshot/video to be dropped/picked, but it could be extended to multiple "pages". What do you think?
Great stuff! π₯ I miss being able to override the cursor that was there when recording. And also the possibility to make zoom out automatically strictly in the center. Or the possibility to place the zoom out trigger in the center. And also a possibility to rewind video after adding triggers. Video trimming is also needed. But overall I'm happy with what I have, it's a great product! I'd be happy to pay for an advanced version.
@wpltd_store video trimming should now work! to zoom in the center, place your point in the center, but you'd like the zoom position to be different from the mouse position?
@ldenoue It's not that easy to put the cursor in the center. Especially if you have to make several zoom points and back in the video. Then the second zoom back point will be crossed and clicked. And it's also not the exact center, because when zooming backwards I see that the side margins are different widths.
@wpltd_store ah good point, we should have 2 things then: a "snap to grid" when placing points, and when you skim the video timeline, points not belonging to that time should be shown in a faded color and unclickable. So you could place new points without interfering. Would that work?
@wpltd_store we added a new option "Snap Grid" in the right panel that makes it super easy to place your points. Working on the other suggestion (placing points later that can be overlapping previous points).
Update March 3: @wpltd_store now the points are selected based on the timeline: so if you place a point at a later time, it will be draggable first. So you can place points later in your video that overlap previous points.
@ldenoue I was looking at a very similar product yesterday that was priced quite high and feel lucky to have stumbled upon this this morning. Thanks for making such a great product! I'll literally be using it in the next 15 minutes so you really made my life easier.
Congrats on the launch!
@ldenoue I actually have been using it all this morning haha! I think a great feature would be to directly crop the video within the web browser so the animations can be edited to the new length :)
@carter_barnett just to double check: you are asking for a video trimming function (set the start and end times) and not a cropping function (eg crop out some parts of the video), correct?
I love the product, specially the feature where you can transform an image screenshot into a video. The zoom effect is just awesome. Great work @ldenoue π
