@rjvir Hey Raj! Completely agree, and it's something that we're absolutely trying to accomplish. Being the single destination to quickly get a pass/fail on food at grocery stores, restaurants, and in recipes is the vision! Give us time. As of today, it's just me working on the app, but that's hopefully changing soon :)

Hello Product Hunt!
Today we're excited to launch Seedy on the App Store.
After following the anti-seed oil community for some time on Twitter, I decided to give the diet a shot. Needless to say, the results for me personally were fantastic. However, I found it annoying to have to constantly check nutrition labels for things like canola and vegetable oil.
I wound up reaching out to one of the more outspoken figureheads, https://twitter.com/seedoildsrspctr, with an idea to turn he and his wife's PDF shopping guides into a full-fledged app. A few months later, and we're off the ground!
Seedy is a curated database of seed oil-free products that enables anyone looking to try a healthier diet to find approved products at their grocery store without the hassle. Today, we're happy to launch v1 of Seedy that allows users to:
✔️ Shop for seed oil-free products at Wal-Mart, America's largest grocery chain
✔️ Create custom shopping lists
✔️ Access learning modules to help get you started on a healthier diet
Over the next few months, we'll add support for more stores like:
- Kroger
- Costco
- Publix
- Trader Joe's
- Wegman's
- Thrive Market
- Target
- Aldi
