🚀 Working on Pixefy – A browser extension to make UI testing smoother! Would love your thoughts!

Hey Product Hunt! 👋

We’ve been working on Pixefy, a browser extension designed to make UI testing and responsive design checks way less frustrating.

As a designer, I got tired of constantly resizing my browser, switching devices, and opening DevTools just to check if a layout looked right. So I started building Pixefy - a tool that lets you view multiple devices side by side, keep everything in sync, and inspect elements quickly. Here’s what it does so far:

  • Multi-device responsive testing – Instantly preview how your site looks across different screen sizes in one tab. You can also switch user agents to test how different devices behave.

  • Synced interactions – navigate across all views at the same time - no more repeating actions for each screen.

  • Quick UI inspection – Easily measure distances, check styles, and tweak values without digging through DevTools. You can also compare element styles across different screen sizes to catch inconsistencies faster.

🔧 We’re still building (now open beta) and improving, so I’d love to hear your thoughts:

  • How do you currently test and review UI across devices?

  • What’s the most annoying part of your workflow?

  • Any features you’d love to see in a tool like this?

UI testing can get repetitive, so anything that streamlines it is a win.

Launching soon!

Version 1:
Same here, I’ve been manually testing the UI as well. It’s such a tedious and frustrating task. If this works well, it’s going to revolutionize the workflow. I’m really looking forward to it!
