Hey Product Hunters, I'm Clay, the creator of Self Sport, and today I'm pumped to share a tool that's transformed my life – one I hope might do the same for you. A few years back, I hit a low. Most days, I felt down, uninspired and oddly anxious about trivial things. I was directionless, falling short of the person I knew I could be. Scared and shrinking. I turned to the usual suspects: journaling, mindfulness, gratitude practices, and the "quantified self" elements of self-improvement. These practices helped, for sure. They quickly gave me insights into myself and how my lifestyle shaped my well-being. But the truth is, fitting them into daily life was a struggle. They felt disruptive, time-consuming, and often ended up as isolated 30-minute sessions at morning or night, disconnected from the rest of my day. More of a prayer, than a practice. I needed something more seamless and integrated into my life. A tool that could blend the simplicity of a fitness tracker with the power of journaling. Something to make self-reflection and mindfulness feel natural, not forced. A middle ground that centered my brain on how I live - changing my actions as a result. That's how Self Sport was born.
