Serpstat is a cloud-based All-in-One SEO platform for professionals. It includes 5 essential tools: position tracking, backlink analysis, competitor analysis, site audit and keyword research.
Hi, PH! I’m the CEO of Serpstat and I’m happy to show you guys what we’ve created here.
First of all, the Search Suggestions tool on Serpstat is free, so you can use it as much as you want. We mostly work with big data mostly used by SEOs, but this particular tool has a lot to offer to general public too.
We created an algorithm that finds and saves autocomplete suggestions for any keyword from Google to our database. Now Serpstat knows what will show up in that little box below the search bar as you type your query. We then created a filter that shows only questions for the keyword you entered. This allows you to know what questions about your product people might have and what questions Google will recommend them to ask. By creating content based on these questions you can reach out to your audience and provide a solution to their problem.
Go ahead and visit our website, all hunters get a 20% discount to our full service which includes a lot more than featured here: rank tracking, backlink analysis, keyword research, competitor analysis and site audit. You can do everything to promote your product or service online in one place.
Let us know what you think about Serpstat, do you like it, what would you add or improve?
@artem_borodatyuk My two cents: I would definitely make it a little simpler, maybe even make every feature a separate product/site. One simple consistent interface per feature... I found your service pretty overwhelming and I'm curious if every feature is used the most.
@milann That is a good idea, and we did have this feature on a separate subdomain – sg.serpstat.com (still accessible through this address) but we decided to add it to our main platform to advertise the rest of our product and make sure that people see Serpstat as an all-in-one tool for professionals, which appeals more to our target audience.
@tall_netpeak Thank you for checking it out. We do plan to add new countries, that is a task that we always work on, but it takes time to collect enough data, we don't want to release databases that miss a lot of results. We're always collecting data for at least 3 new countries at the time. We had to focus on expanding a product and adding new features to it this summer, so we have some catching up to do in terms of new databases.
@artem_borodatyuk I use Serpstat for some of my projects and it's a highly recommended tool. This new feature is a nice addition to the platform but I think there is a lot of vertical scrolling to find the suggestions and the chart is good but it could be a little bit smaller. But beyond that is an awesome tool.
Tried this out in a very nerdy fashion, tweaking everything, trying to break everything. I found out SEO, anything Google really is a 'not so evil' black art.
This is one of those products you can't stop playing with, perfect for growth hackers and web developers and content marketers and web designers and CMO's and anything experimental nerd.
I contacted them for a discount and that's also what they offer for you product hunters out there in the Woooorld.
LOVE the tool and so much excited to see it having a blast on ProductHunt! If you are into search engine optimization, PPC or content marketing, give it a try! It has a ton of cool features you'll never find anywhere else (like missing keywords and questions). Play with the filters too! The free version is pretty cool, so no excuse for not trying!
Took a trial account some time ago and used it to research online competition for specific niche.
I was expecting to spend couple of hours just understanding the tool to begin with, as it usually is with complex solutions such as this. But to my surprise the learning curve was not steep at all and I managed to get a list of competitors and data on what content they put out in under an hour.
I thought that this tool was all about keywords and meant for PPC and SEO guys, but I used it to come up with a good content plan for my project by analyzing what the competition publishes and advertises online.
The stats provided by Serpstat also helped me find unfilled content niches and avoid overpopulated topics.
I am probably using it for something like 10% of the service's potential and others will be able to take a lot more out of it, especially if you work with Adwords and PPC ads in general. Maybe I should read the blog :)
Best of luck guys!
@tim_vlasenko Thank you for your feedback. Always happy to see a satisfied user! If you want to learn more about Serpstat's features, you can address our support team and they will host a live demo for you. You'll see all of the biggest and greatest features, how they work and how to use them to you benefit. Just start a live chat (green icon at the bottom right corner of any page) and you guys can schedule a demo. If you work for an agency we can host one for your team as well.
Very useful product, perfect way to find long-tail keywords!
Is there any roadmap for implementing more European countries like Germany, France and the Netherlands?
@jesse_de_boer Thanks for giving it a go. All on the countries you've listed are on our list already. We have been focusing on adding a lot of new features this summer so we're missing out a little and have some catching up to do. The data is being collected and as soon as we have adequate amount of data for these countries they will go public. You can follow out blog, we announce all of our updates there. If you're looking for long-tail keywords make sure to contact our support, they can show a few cool tricks!
@paulodef I think the fact that ATP got like 20 upvotes and Serpstat already has more than 1000 speaks for itself. Some people want to look at the beard (which is cool, I admit it) and some people want to get the data. Let me show you the difference in results from Serpstat and ATP. I'll take the query suggested by Answer The Public: "xbox"
Here's what we have from ATP: 137 results
Let's take a closer look at the HOW qestions:
Almost all of them include worlds like "works" or "made". I doubt that questions like "how xbox one headset works" are more popular than "how to download games on xbox". Even if they are, you pretty much got one content idea, which is – Explain how stuff works.
And note this! Where are the "How to" questions? This is the most popular type of questions, yet ATP didn't find any...
Now let's take a look at Serpstat's results.
The number of just the "HOW" questions is 13,000.
Let's take a closer look:
Just these 10 results out of 13,000 already give you at least 6 different ideas, instead of one from all of ATP results.
I was waiting for you guys on PH! Nice to have you here.
You are making a great product for SEO and PPC specialist. Hope someday Serpstat will be a must-have tool for every marketer!
PS. I'm reading almost every article on your blog, and happy to see your growth during the last year!
@vladimirpolo Thank you for the support and for reading our blog. Our English blog version will get a boost shortly and catch up to the Russian version of blog, so keep an eye out! And feel free to share your thoughts or suggest improvements. Cheers!
@artem_borodatyuk I am a Internet Marketing Director for a large dealer group. I have been using your tool for the past day or so...It is pretty great. I love the competitors feature--exposing competitor SERP listings, keywords, etc. My question is, how does it compare to the Moz Keyword Explorer tool and others? I've spent a lot of time in many tools, and I would like to consider yours as a regular tool of mine.
@johnpagley Hi, John. Thank you for trying Serpstat and considering it as your regular instrument.
First advantage (and the weakest IMO) is the price. You probably noticed that our prices are significantly lower, compared to similar tools.
We promote Serpstat as an all-in-one tool and it is. subscription gives you an access to keyword research, competitor analysis, backlink analysis, rank tracking and site audit. Instead of making 5 separate tools we keep it all in one place.
Our API pricing is also one of the best there is and it may be of use for agencies and specialists who work on large projects.
But the best part is our unique features, like monitoring the growth of a market share through rank tracking and visibility, comparing URLs (this is basically the nest level of competitive analysis, you can find direct competitors for one category page instead of the whole domain, for example), accessing the tree-view of any domain where yo can see which pages rank for which keywords and on what positions and more.
I can keep on going non-stop about this, if you're interested, we can host a live demo for you and your team where our support team will show you the best parts of Serpstat, how to use them and how they can be of help. Let me know if you're interested!
@michal_zlabek Thanks for giving it a go. It really takes a lot of getting used to. You can always request a free lesson from our support. They can show you the ropes and features that can be of most use.
@liorowsky Hi, Lior. SEMRush is a great tool that we learned a lot from. While Serpstat and SEMrush look similar, there are actually quite a lot of differences in features and databases. So far SEMrush has more databases, but that is a temporary advantage. We already have the biggest domain and keyword database for UK. We're now working towards making our US database the biggest on the market. We update our databases more frequently (based on our own analysis, so that may be wrong but at least it seems like we're in the lead here). Our backlinks database is also much bigger that that of SEMrush (All we have to do now is overtake Ahrefs, which will not be an easy task). I can continue for hours.
That said, SEMrush can make a list of their own advantages (maybe even bigger than ours), but you asked for our advantages so here they are :)
@artem_borodatyuk thank you for the quick and honest answer. I use SEMRush quite a lot especially with the keywords difficulty tool and related. I think that for somebody that is using this types of services for SEO / Content needs simplified opportunities locator. Not everybody can/will do a deep analysis and there you have an opportunity.
My process;
1. keywordtool.io - find long tail keywords
2. Adwords keyword Planner - Find long tail with enough traffic
3. Check density and difficulty with SEMrush
@liorowsky absolutely agree with you, everything about SEO tools needs to be simplified, but given the subject in question, it's not easy at all. We're working towards "push button get results" thing, but it's not coming soon.
Their query based pricing makes the product almost unusable. They'll charge you for every DB query they post -- every click will cost you the number of DB queries that action requires. That's pretty random and dependent on how efficiently they do that (I don't see much incentive to optimize that). Moreover, reports you "purchase" are not cached i.e if you request the same report you just saw/purchased, you'll be charged again.
Use it for 2 years now! Finally someone Hunted it. Too bad it wasn't me.
Some improvements would be fine but all and all it does the job it was made for.
@proffi thanks for your comment, Ivan!
Looking forward to getting the list of improvements you would suggest. It is super important for us and Product Hunt is brilliant platform to get feedback from our user.
@elizabethhunker nice to hear it, thanks! Enjoy Serpstat and feel free to ask me or our support team any questions you have about the product and its features.
@joseph_ali Thanks. It really is, our biggest problem is that people who are new to these types of things usually see it as too complicated. We're trying to make it easier to work with and understand but there's only so much we can do about it. Anyways, if you feel like it can help you with anything but you don't know how – let me know, I'll be happy to help :)
Pricing page didn't load for the first time. It worked after a refresh. Anyway, maybe it's just my browser. I'm pretty happy that guys from Ukraine built such an awesome tool. Keep on!
@eugenelata@artem_borodatyuk It looks like it happens everytime I click "GET IT" (macOS Sierra v10.12, Chrome v53.0.2785.143, 64-bit). I've recorded a quick gif here for you guys so you can replicate it -
@vlad_pekh Good morning, Vlad. We have tested everything on different devices but couldn't replicate the problem. Can you tell us what device you're using?
@ivan_filimonov New Search engines are not a priority at the moment, unfortunately, we'll start by adding new countries for Google. As for Yandex our databases are the best, there's no other way of saying it. We removed all of the "trash" results after collecting and analyzing the biggest database. If you remove keywords with 0 search volume from tools that claim to have the biggest database, the will have to work hard to catch up.
I have been using SERP stat premium for a couple of months now, and it has become my favourite SEO tool. Please do give us access to Scandinavian markets as well. Great job guys.
