Shadow aims to provide a modern, lightweight and clean user interface with a small set of features (including SharePlay) that allow you to enjoy podcasts without getting in the way.
This is great!
As a Spotify user, I'm curious to hear your thoughts on why their podcast UX seems to miss the mark in so many places. I made the switch from Apple to Spotify so I could consolidate my audio, but I've found myself being frustrated with how many features are unintuitive or clunky. In your opinion, is there a method to their madness that I'm overlooking?
Because, in theory, I think most users would agree a minimalist app like Shadow caters to their podcast needs more effectively.
@jonathan_nass Thanks Jonathan :) yeah I think a focused app is almost always going to give a better experience for a user. The aim with Shadow is to create something minimal but that everything it does, it does well. Lots more to come, I'm only getting started!
