Howdy, PH! Excited to introduce you to Logo, the latest from ShapeFactory. There's plenty of logo builders out there. None quite like this one. We drastically simplified the flow behind creating a logo and built in some intelligence to ensure every output is beautiful. We hope this tool enables a whole new set of builders and makers.

If you are willing to use one of these logos to run a business, then you deserve no success. If you don't value your image, why should anyone else other trust you?

Hopefully, you gave the product a chance and checked it out at least. We find that the folks who really benefit from a product like this have no branding whatsoever for their new venture and often zero resources to get something going. It has little to do with not valuing their own image, quite the opposite in fact. Providing them a nice simple logo elevates their young company appearance, sets them up for success down the road as their branding evolves, and enables them to focus on the aspects of their business they can control. We definitely appreciate your passion here and we understand logo design is a contentious issue for some people. Please know we respect the craft and are simply looking to help empower people to get their ideas off the ground.

I'm a graphic designer who's made a bunch of logos, so of course I hated this idea. But when I think about it, the logos created with this tool would be better than 80-90% of the logos out there. I don't think these logos would work for the long haul, they'll get dated pretty fast. But for someone starting out, who's low on funds, this isn't a bad way to go. Nothing replaces a unique logo from an experienced designer, though.

@jbatutis We couldn't agree more. Logo wasn't created to replace a designer or design agency, it's to help the majority that can't afford a professional logo or want to create something quickly that looks great.

I have already bought two logos.

Easy to use.

You will get overloaded with great options which is a good problem to have.

I bought the animation on the second logo I created. Defiantly worth the extra $10.

The suggested font types and icons are stellar. Animation feature amazing

This is the first logo generator I've used that I actually like. The quality of the icons are a step-up from the competition, IMO. Great work!

Okay for a completely new startup but it's too pricey. You could most likely get a better logo at Fiverr. Needs to be more affordable, and with some more customization this could be a great tool.

Too simple; it needs more flexibility

@amoo Sorry for the super late reply, Adnan. We're not nearly as active here as we should be. Thanks for supporting us! Besides Fiverr I would recommend either 99designs or using a reputable freelancer or agency (with the latter being on the more expensive side). It really depends on your budget and the value of your brand in your industry! Hope that helps.

Hi, tried to use it, but your website it is not working on my mac. It does not load resources or I do not know what are the issues. First it asked me to enter business name twice and then on the next step all the suggestions were blank.

@ivandrag @rosty_sokolov Figured out what's happening here (had me scratching my head for a second). There was an issue if you clicked "Get Started" without typing a name first. Thanks for the heads up, it should work for you now!

@jasondonnette works now. Great tool. Don't need a logo right now, but maybe in the future I will use. The only thing I don't like is the black background of the website, but it just a preference :)) . Good luck with this project.

This looks great, especially as a developer who struggles with design, I always need a slick, cheap logo for products I make on the side. Any chance you could tell how this works? I am trying to understand how unique are the logos generated. I remember using Fiverr for my logo needs and was assured from a high rated seller that the logo made for me was unique. 10 mins on google, I could find the exact copy of that logo...

@doutatsu I've been referring to the way we built it as "curated randomness". If I was better at marketing I would probably call it AI. But the logos all have quite a few random elements to them, while staying within some rails. Even real human designers can have a hard time knowing if a design or logo is unique, so it's hard for our system to guarantee it. But using a unique business name and putting your logo in context really helps. One nice thing ShapeFactory Logo can do out of the box is animate your logo, which helps give it some additional uniqueness. All that said, keeping it simple but unique is something we're constantly working to innovate on. We retire and add new layouts and typefaces and icons pretty frequently, to keep the app producing fresh designs. Hope that answers your question, and I think you'll find this a little nicer and custom than most of what you find on Fiverr!

@jasondonnette Your first sentence is what I was looking for. My experience with Fiverr was mostly about some "designers" just ripping off someone else's work. All I want is to get a logo that is unique. It of course could look similar to some others one, but still be unique on its own

Wow, totally blown away (as a graphic designer/interest/hobbiest myself) i am really impressed! The font kits are spot on, and the icon packs are really great with a huge range and selection! Something you'll might not of thought of: what a great source of inspiration for a project, you can really start to see, touch, feel a direction with little to no effort. I'm a customer! Really excited to see where this goes, how you all intend to expand.

@saifalfalah ShapeFactory is the name of the set of tools. We wanted each tool within that set to be descriptive.

How do you get a two-line design?

@illfee If you type in two words, eg: "Ethan Illfelder" many of the layouts get two line options. It also works for CamelCase words, it'll try and split some of them on the capital letters.

Great for startups with limited resources! Maybe not the best solution in a long haul, but if that logo "sticks" to the brand/company - why not use it :) I love the simplicity and the ease of use 👏
