Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I challenged myself to purchase a new domain and build something within 48 hours. The idea was simple; make it easier to share a YouTube video via Instagram Stories. In addition, I wanted to take advantage of new technologies like Live Text from Apple and Google Lens that recognises information within your photos. Introducing Sharelinkmaker, create an image for Instagram Stories using a YouTube link. After taking a screenshot of the Instagram story, the image is saved in your Photos app. Whenever you want to view the YouTube video, use Live Text or Google Lens to interact with the QR code and/or link. YouTube creators put a lot of thought into their video titles and thumbnails and hopefully now their videos can be shared (by them or others) in an automated and aesthetically pleasing way.
