Awesome cyberpunk trip through a dystopian future in which corporate franchises have replaced geopolitical bodies and the internet exists in the VR manner envisioned by other late '80s/early '90s worlds like TRON. Super invested in narrative structures and the back-end of culture, weaving a fantastic tale about how language and religion might be used to program the brain. Excellent read.

I'm a big fan of Neal Stephenson's books... There was something in Peter Thiel's books about all the PayPal mafia loving his book Cryptonomicon.
