Shepherd is a Chrome extension that plugs directly into the Google Calendar and Google Meet for teams to take collaborative notes, set custom agendas and assign action items, as well as connect with other productivity apps. Everything in one place!
Shepherd is amazing! I find it very helpful for organization and information flow inside of a team! Congratulations on the launch! ^_^ Can you tell me please, is it maybe compatible with Slack? :))
@maria_brm thank you for the support - Yes, we integrate with Slack which is great for distributing your meeting notes to your team as well as receiving notifications from tasks and mentions assigned to you in Shepherd :)
@thomas_filmer Awesome! Thanks for the answer Thomas! ^_^ Indeed, it is so helpful and it can boost a lot efficiency inside of a team, I will be glad to introduce it to my crew and start using it! ^_^ I am always happy to support great projects and rise awareness about great and creative teams! ^_^
Learnt about Shepherd a few weeks ago and installed it as well. The onboarding was great. but did no have the chance to try it out. This is a great reminder. Love the idea and your logo :)
?makers you should try to incorporate this books strategies with your idea. The book is called 'Measure What Matters' and is run on a premise of 'OKR's' - objectives and key results (how most corporates and companies run like Google, Workday) would be super neat to automate that!!
@nicole_ogloza we would love to do that. We are adding more and more support for templates and this is definitely one we want to have.
Where else do you imagine Shepherd could incorporate OKRs and other ways to help with objectives and measures?
@ana_vizcarrondo_goyanes I would show real world examples of how Google uses OKR's and show how they can achieve big harry audacious goals, and show how to scale backwards from that. Some entrepreneurs (lucky them) never had corporate experience, and showing them how to apply this in their companies and scale to a corp, would be soooooo neat to see! Helps building a life long and lasting culture!

Thanks @galaxyx7 🙌 Would love to hear what you think. Currently the tool is completely free, and we'll be releasing paid plans with additional features/functionality this year.
Congrats on your launch and video, very well explained! @jamie_gotz
We've been using plain G notes for our meeting minutes, but this seems a lot more powerful. I'm willing to give it a try.
Any way I can check the integrations list? We're using Shortcut for PM, that would be helpful.
@stefani_kovachevska Thank you for the kind words! I think Shepherd will be really useful for project management. We're hoping to have a Shortcut integration live very soon - as soon as we do, you'll be the first to know 😉
Hi @indranil_dasgupta, thank you for installing - yes the product caters for many different industries! Let us know what you think of Shepherd once you have taken it for a spin.
Fascinating thing! At the start I thought it can be sth overwhelming, because I've already been using a lot of apps and this is plus one more. But the collaboration and sync with notion made me look at it at another perspective, and I liked it! :) Will definitely try it with my team when we will come back to work after war (I hope soon) 😢
Hi @alinama Productivity can often be super overwhelming, which is why we're optmizing for 'less is more'. We also hope the dust settles very soon in Europe and that life resumes to normal 🙏 Thank you for your support!
I'm a huge advocate for this product!! Well done on the launch. Will you guys be looking at a dashboard list view meetings? This would be super useful 🙏
@gigi_brett thank you! The list of all past meeting notes is being worked on as we speak! We are planning to release it in the coming weeks. We are also working on a view of upcoming meetings to help you prepare for them :)
Hey Jamie
Looks good. Getting people to write and circulate minutes is a worthy goal.
I founded a startup targeting this same use case in 2011. "Pailz - every meeting action done". We made the mistake of trying to build both the minutes writing interface (MinuteNow) and the task management tool (Pailz). Once trello and asana hit the scene shortly after we started, we could see we were clearly outgunned.
I wrote a bunch of SEO friendly content called "The Meeting Minutes" - https://web.archive.org/web/2012... - I'd be happy for you to repurpose any of the content, if you find useful for your own marketing efforts.
Cheers
Toby Beresford
@tobyberesford Hey Toby - thanks so much for your support! It's really interesting to hear your journey in trying to solve for unproductive meetings - I'm sure there are several things we could learn from this. Thank you for the offer to repurpose some of the content, we'd love to look into this 🙏 All the best!
I've been using Shepherd as an early tester for some time already and it's dramatically improved my meeting workflow. I love how simple this makes taking high quality notes in meetings, especially when sharing with teammates or logging key information when assessing dealflow.
Thank you @jamesroypoulter - Yes, the Zoom integration is in the pipeline and should be available soon, keep an eye out for the update ;) Let us know what you think once you have taken Shepherd for a spin!
I have been using Shepherd at Airthings for the last few weeks. Brilliant tool to ensure every meeting has an agenda and minutes are captured and shared. Shorter and more productive meetings 🚀 .
Please! Can you have some default templates available, currently one has to make them oneself, but surely there is a simple agenda and minutes template you could make quickly available? 🙏
@martin_mcgloin thank you so much! Glad to hear Shepherd is being of help at Airthings.
Great feedback, we are currently working to soon release some simple templates.
Let us know of any other improvements you would like to see
@martin_mcgloin Thank you. Interestingly, we've had a few requests for pre-set templates, so we'll ne working hard to get this in the product for you to try. If there are any templates in particular, please feel free to let us know what these are so we can prioritise them :)
Hi @hugodelafargue, I am glad you enjoy the UI - we have an amazing designer on the team. We are a free product currently, hoping to help everyone improve their meeting productivity.
@ally_macrobert Hey Ally 👋 So glad you enjoyed our explainer video! And to answer your questions, YES, Asana is likely next on our integrations roadmap, so watch this space!
@oystein_hansen1 We're so glad you and your team are enjoying Shepherd for your meetings! We try to bring as much value as possible, in the simplest way 😊
