Fascinating timing on this one — considering the Hollywood strikes going on!
If today's generative AI can write entire Southpark episodes (granted, trained on loads of previous episodes and other IP), you can only imagine how much better these products will become in successive years.

This is very interesting. I don't think I'd be able to grasp the technical aspects of the paper but I'm going to give it a try.
About 3.5 years ago, a couple of days after the release of DALL-E (v1), I'd written a piece about a possible future of content creation - especially movies.
