@robjbye I disagree with this sentiment. Money brings freedom, and freedom brings happiness. To me happiness means being able to do whatever you want in life wether that’s travelling the world and buying tickets for space tourism adventures, or just staying at home with your family full time. The sad reality for the vast vast majority of folk is that they are tied to a job they hate making just enough money to get by.

@robjbye Hi Rob, I certainly don’t disagree. The pursuit of money as a sole or main objective is generally a losing cause. However, it is a simple metric - similar to that of a stock price for a company - that encompasses many layers of strategic objectives and tactical plans for execution. Finally, as the adage goes, “it’s not what you make, it’s what you keep.” Creating a target is nice when it helps you save, pay off debt, and create the space/optionality to do more fulfilling things with the people you care about.
