Hi everyone! This is Angela from SitePoint. 👋🏼 Today I’m really excited to share with you our new Learn Blockchain Hub. Ethereum is a powerful blockchain-based platform for building distributed applications. Where Bitcoin seeks to decentralize payments, Ethereum has much broader ambitions — replacing and decentralizing all sorts of services that store, manipulate and transfer data and verified records. Our Learn Blockchain Hub will introduce you to the fundamental concepts behind the blockchain, and the use-cases for Ethereum itself. You'll learn how to use Ethereum so that you're functionally literate with it when you start writing your first applications. You'll then be introduced to Solidity, the programming language that Ethereum applications are most frequently written in. Over eight tutorials, you'll learn how to write applications in this language and compile them as you build the Story DAO project. Finally, we've got all the essential Ethereum tools covered — you'll learn Truffle, Geth, Mist, Open Zeppelin, Puppeth, and more in detailed tutorials for beginners. We’ve worked hard to develop content that we think is interesting, useful and shares our love of learning. My hope is that you’ll learn something new from our hub, so you can take it into the world and kick some ass with Ethereum. 😎
