@olga_kapinos Congrats on the launch! Ukraine is known for great software developers, and I think it is great for both companies and software developers. Do the software developers working through SkyWorker enjoy a higher rate than than working for the outsourcing companies in Ukraine? or the rate is almost the same?

Salary expectations depend more on their experience and skills :) Those with unique expertise collaborating with leading product companies tend to have higher expectations. Although, on average, the median salary is about 20-35% lower compared to talents in the US.

However, considering the rapidly evolving tech world, it might be helpful to introduce features for clients to tailor search for specialties like AI, DATA, Cybersecurity, etc. Overall, amazing job! Great idea. All of the Ukranian and Russian software engineers that I know of are very competent. It would be much better if they stopped fighting and go back to innovating and building great software.
I think a lot of Postgres maintainers are from that area of the world so it will help us all out significantly.
@kingromstar Skyworker has never had and will never have users from russia. Ukraine keeps innovating and building great products even under attacks from russia, with Ukrainian warriors defending our country and lives every day. It's a pity that there are still people out there who consider Ukraine and russia as the "same area".
Great job, guys! Ukraine has long been well known in the world for its high level of IT specialists, and I believe that your project will help many find an interesting job with a decent level of salary and benefits, and will also once again prove to the whole world the value of our homeland.

@tatyana_kosachova Yes, during my time in the USA, I met so many founders who had previously collaborated with Ukrainians. All of them have fond memories. I feel a sense of pride when they tell me such things.

Having worked as a software engineer in Ukraine, having moved to the US to do an MIT MBA, and now working as a founder of my own tech startup in the Bay Area, I've experienced the market the Skyworker pioneers from all sides.

I could not believe such crap could exist. I am not sure, who are all those people giving praising reviews - most likely all are bots. This is not more than a regular job board, which someone is trying to serve as an IT platform. it took me 7 minutes watching the loading worm to figure out 1 ios developer job. Do you think I am disabled to just check the list in a last than one minute by myself? I would also advise to Skyworker team to discover the tool named Grammarly, because almost all what I read there were written in the most ridiculous manner and with poorest language I have ever seen
Congrats on the launch. I hired my first tech lead from Ukraine, he's a hustler. Ukrainian engineers are an untapped resource, on par with Silicon Valley, for 1/4 of the cost. You just have to get around the time difference.
