Hey 👋 I'm Hakim—co-founder of Slides.com and creator of the reveal.js open source HTML presentation framework. Writing reveal.js presentations in HTML gives you full control over every detail of your content but it's a very time consuming way to create a full deck. That's where the idea for Slides was born. Slides lets you create HTML presentations powered by reveal.js, through an intuitive and powerful graphical interface. Our service lets you present live, remote control, collaborate, and so much more. Today we're super excited to launch Slides for Developers! A suite of developer tools that make our platform even more powerful for people who know HTML and CSS. Happy to answer any questions! 🙌

I love slides and use it for all my presentations (weekly). I’m also a developer... so it seems I’m the target and indeed I’m pretty excited. I’ll give it a whirl for sure. Is the recommended method of using/demoing JS code pen? Or willl there be a way to add custom js in a given slide?

@jpschroeder Glad to hear you're already using Slides, Justin! Definitely let us know what you think about the developer features. Yes, if you want to run your own JS we recommend using CodePen. We will be adding support for custom JS within your slides at some point as well. Technically, we already have a JS editor and a way to whitelist it for our own internal accounts. The remaining and challenging part is finding a secure way to enable it for all of our users.

There simply is no other presentation tool out there that makes it as easy to present source code snippets as Slides does. The new functionality sounds super interesting!

I'm a software developer and university lecturer. I have used RevealJS in its early days (I came from Impress.js) and I've been using Slides for a few years. I love the evolution of this platform, domain, and tech! Amazing work Hakim! (Also tweeted with our company account: https://twitter.com/lively_apps/...)
