Wow! Slite has really come a long way. It's evolved from a note app to looking more and more like a mature document app that competes with Notion and Confluence.
Brieuc Sebillotte
It's true, you've seen our first steps and our first version! Thanks @hnshah :)
Christophe Pasquier
Hey all, I'm Chris, co-founder of Slite. I'm thrilled to RE-introduce the all-new Slite, three years - almost on the dot - after our initial launch on PH 🎉 Slite then was a note app for teams. The all-new Slite plays in an entire other dimension. From early on, teams used it for more than just notes. They transferred their knowledge bases, projects and all sorts of information to Slite. So we've worked to build the perfect tool for teams to centralize and structure all their information. Here's what's new and better: - The editor. I just plain love it and believe it's one of the best collaborative writing experiences you'll find on the web today. - Smart Tables. Our version of simple databases lets you structure, sort, and filter information and documents. It opens a whole world of possibilities. - The interface. We've redesigned most of the app, uncluttered and simplified everything. And we have a beautiful dark mode for those who like it. 🌘 - Catch up. A simple way to see exactly where your team needs you. It's just the beginning towards calmer work. - Integrations. So you can embed external content in Slite or push content externally. - An updated mobile app. That's way more enjoyable to use - Draft by Slite. Our Chrome extension, that turns your browser tabs in to Slite docs. And much more, check it out and let us know what you think! To top it all off, we're also introducing a new brand developed in partnership with StudioKoto (big thanks Tim, Aniko, Louie, Fred, Rosie & team 👏). This brand aligns more clearly with our vision to help teams transition to remote, asynchronous communication and written culture. Check it out and let us know what you think 👋

@christophepas Congrats! Looking forward to checking out all the new features!
Peter Pezaris
@christophepas looks fantastic so far! congrats to the team.
Alex Bass
@christophepas looks sososo good, blown away by the site, copy, brand, colors, everything. Probably the best rebrand I have seen, especially in the time of such strange redesigns (e.g. Medium/Dropbox). Fantastic all around and super proud to be a user and lover of Slite. Mobile app icon looks kick-ass too! Incredible work and SO excited for what's to come :)
Christophe Pasquier
Aha that's really awesome to read @alexhbass, thanks so much for your loooong lasting support, we really appreciate it!
Christophe Pasquier
Aha thanks a ton Peter!!
Juan Buis
Beautifully done! 👏 Slite is one of the most promising tech companies out there, and this just takes everything it to a whole new level.
Varun Nair
A quick question to understand how different does it make from Monday.com or notion.so or even Airtable @christophepas ? Meanwhile, i will give it a try and understand the concept and experience and try to spot the differences.
Christophe Pasquier
Heyo @iamvarunnair thanks for giving it a spin! We're not really in opposition to Monday & Airtable, we actually have terrific embeds for these services! Slite is really a tool for your team to write all their information down and communicate in a more thoughtful manner. We couple very well with project management tools! So vs the Notions, Confluence & equivalent, there are 2 massive differences on our approach. 1/ The approachability. Slite is a team tool, all should be able to use 100% of it. and... our competitors don't really do that, which is great for power users, not so great for teams. Our users say it better than we do, here are literally the 2 last answers we received from our ever-running survey, this morning: > notion, coda were too complex for me, and didn't really allow team collaboration > I find it incredibly easy to use in comparison to other alternatives 2/ And our focus on flexible and distributed teams. We were born in remote, and 60% of our customers are in remote (40% before the pandemic). Remote implies great written culture, great async communication, and that is what we focus the tool on. That goes through every detail of the product, all our templates, and more importantly, through our upcoming roadmap! Oh and on features features? Here are a few: - our app is WAY faster - our search is more powerful - we don't replace your whole toolchain, we integrate with it - we've built "Catch up", a feed surfacing the most important updates of your team tailored to you, so that you can get updated, on your time and space. - the editor is a delight Hope that helps ;)
Varun Nair
@christophepas I really appreciate for the kind answer. Yes, notion is a little complicated but confluence does the job right now. I will definitely give it a week trial and give you a feedback based on the experience. Such that it will help you with long run. Cheers and congratulations on the launch!! Awesome thanks in advance for the feedback @iamvarunnair 🙌

@christophepas @brieuc1 @laure_albouy and team, BIG Congratulations. So blown away with the rebrand, standout of all the recent rebrands we have been seeing. Now product, it has just been getting better and better. The comments redesign and ability to see cursors have been a big big win in async work and collaboration. 🤜🤛 I initially started using Slite back in 2017 for personal usage to replace Google Keep. I then started trying to use it for business and my team + got some clients onboard, but it wasn't yet collaborative enough. Ended up trying the myriad out (Notion/IT Glue/Others) and then came back to Slite alongside Coda in mid 2018 (using Coda for external client collaboration). 📝 The team has seriously stepped up collaboration though and our team actually entirely stopped using Coda for share client documentation in Feb 2020 and haven't looked back since! 🚀 The thing I love most about Slite is that it's quick and smooth. Enjoyable to use even, something that most other editors don't put as much time into. What we have learned is that the team is more likely to write documentation and collaborate if they enjoy actually using the product. Has anyone here used Confluence or other enterprise-grade documentation platforms? Or maybe using Google Docs and organizing them in Drive? Yeah, it's painful and not an enjoyable experience. 😓 Slite has won me over so much that I use a separate account for my personal documentation as well (finances/notes/health/medical/etc.), I have gotten my girlfriend onboard using it for both client consulting and for personal usage as well. Slite is now a core part of our onboarding process and clients are always impressed and curious as to what we are using. Slite is Software + Team. Their team is incredible. In just speaking through the support chat I have developed friendships with their team. @brieuc1 + @laure_albouy + Alexandria + Rob + Mike + @christophepas you are all amazing ♥️ Love you all, wishing you the best, and so happy to be a part of the Slite family! P.S. Zapier integration (or some way to create a doc from a template via the API would tie the knot for me 😬🚀).
Laure Albouy
@alexhbass I still remember our very first call when I onboarded you on Slite's beta. thanks so much for all the great product chats, and for being so enthusiastic about Slite from the start. and for taking the time to write up this experience over here! the entire team is beyond touched 🧡
Alex Bass
@laure_albouy It has been an absolute blast! Thank you for making me feel like part of the team :)
Aquibur Rahman
I want to know who the mind is behind the awesome copy of this page. Can someone introduce me to the person?
Alexandria Shrader
@aquib Thanks for asking! :) The copy was a team effort, and Studio Koto helped us a ton with new voice guidelines, as well <3. (And though she wouldn't prefer me to single her out, I can't stop myself: @laure_albouy has been brilliant with guiding the copy, especially.) Hope this helps!
Rob McMackin
@aquib Yep Laure has done an excellent job bringing everything to life and implementing the new ToV in a really creative way. And to be specific at Koto, Louie Zeegen and Anikó Legner drove the overall ToV and strategy. It was a pleasure working with them, and we're really happy with the output. I highly recommend reaching out.

I've been using Slite since August 2019 and it's been an absolutely joy to use. It's been a massive upgrade from using Google Docs to using Slite in the accessibility of information across the org. I love the speed of it too, it's fast to keep up with speed of thought and interlinking of documents is a breeze. Slite has also managed to launch new features at a healthy cadence and I'm glad the consistency is paying off. I've batted for the use of Slite in my organization and I wish Slite all the best with the rebrand and the updated features.
Brieuc Sebillotte
@kavirkaycee for championing Slite in your organization! We'd love to see how we can make a better job at supporting you driving the usage of Slite. I just sent you an email to keep the conversation going :)
Giacomo Melzi
It took us forever to find the right note taking tool for our company, we tried Evernote, notion, Google docs, confluence etc... but in one way or another they didn’t work for us. When we tried slite we found something that worked great, simple, focused on actually taking notes but also flexible. It’s great to see you just entered this phase 2, keep it up! 😎 Side note: the only thing I don’t like it’s the new logo :P as an iOS icon is particularly confusing since it seems like a “loading state” and it looks a lot like an app “downloading” an update which is pretty weird. Maybe is just me tho, I guess data will tell. Cheers guys ;)
Laure Albouy
@igecky thank you so much for the kind note, Giacomo! aha new logos always take some getting used to, but really appreciate the feedback and see where you're coming from :)
David Ryan
This makes me happy to see. I've been cheering you on since we began to wind down Corilla, as we wanted to see these features in the world. Ton, our designer, and I were often wondering "why isn't anyone else wanting to do a browser-as-instant-note-taking view", so I'm happy to see it alive elsewhere. Really excited for you @christophepas (avec un biais supplémentaire car nous avons commencé à Paris aussi). I still get former Corilla users emailing me each week to ask what content tools we recommend - and I know which to refer at the top of that list... :)
Christophe Pasquier
@davedri That means a lot coming from you, I remember very well being amazed by the Corilla logo a long time ago! And as for the browser-as-instant-note-taking view, https://www.producthunt.com/post... is exactly that!
David Ryan
@christophepas I love how FAST this all is. High fives (or whatever is the appropriate socially distanced version of praise) to the technical teams too!
Christophe Pasquier
@davedri that's @pierre_renaudin and the tech team doing their magic!

We're a remote company since Day 1. As the team grows, it's vital to learn from our experiments. Slite is the tool we use to do so. It helps us keep in-sync. It helps us grow. Plus the Slite onboarding experience is mind-blowing!
Eric Fettner
Perfect example of a product that delivers the 80/20 rule. You give me the top 20% of what I need that gets 80% done...... well done. 1. Great for managing internal teams, simplify internal docs, on-boarding docs and easy to find what you need. 2. The Design: it's fun, clean and brings a smile to my face when using it. 3. No Fluff and Simple: not cluttered with extra features and tools that I don't need, you give me the bare bones to get it done. @christophepas @pierre_renaudin @mydigitalself @laure_albouy Keep up the good work!
Laure Albouy
@ericfettner so well put with the 80/20 rule, thank you for this great review 💎
Christophe Pasquier
I'll remember "it's fun, clean and brings a smile to my face when using it.", really a terrific thing to read, thanks a ton @ericfettner 🙏

Very excited to share this new Slite with everyone, and can't wait to hear your feedback—we're here all day to answer any and all questions! For those who are curious to learn more about our recent releases, here's a log of all our updates: https://slite.slite.com/api/s/no...
Florian Bersier
We're big fans of Slite at @gmelius! Initially used the tool to keep track of our meetings. Now, Slite is used to store our processes and guidelines for each department (Sales, Success, Engineering, ...), and every teammate has a daily diary where they can summarise their days. Looking forward to using the smart tables, and love the new website! More integrations would be great? Use case: sync in a better way Slite and our actual Google Meet + Zoom meetings.
Laure Albouy
@gmelius @florianbersier thanks for the great review, Florian. love to hear how you take full advantage of Slite at Gmelius (I actually spoke with David just last week!). really great idea on the syncing of Slite with video calling tools—someone on the team just shared that idea a few days ago. definitely something to think about :)
Satish Gaire
looks like notion. No problem with that, but what's so special about this? How is it going to save my team more time?
Ilija Rolović
We've been using Slite at Enjin since early 2019, and went from information being siloed across Google, Dropbox, Slack and more (making it either impossible or extremely time consuming to find stuff), to having a company-wide centralized database. Meeting notes, marketing plans, development roadmap, UX/UI analysis, HR docs, employee onboarding, branding docs, process documents, support guides, business partner databases - I could go on, but you get the picture, everything is now in Slite and easily accessible, searchable, and looks darn beautiful. Absolutely in LOVE with this product, can't wait to see what you guys do next. New branding & website looks sleek as heck, whoever did the copy freak'n nailed it. P.S. Zapier integration would be awesome wink wink ;)
Aniruddha Ingle
Hello, This is an amazing tool. The look and feel is super refined and clean. The utility is credible. Great work guys. Regards, Aniruddha Ingle
Nitin Gupta
Congrats guyz, looks awesome.. the design is so simple and elegant.. it kindaaa automatically dont allowing to leave the page, kudos to the team. !
Cyril Bertier
Great work, we use it everyday at Zenvest! (ps: it would be great to be able to use your text editor and notes via API😉)
Brieuc Sebillotte
thanks @cyril_bertier ! Really happy to have a fellow eFounders project on Slite ;) What the main use cases you have in mind using the API?
Cyril Bertier
@brieuc1 to use your text editor for our deal descriptions, reportings, etc. either directly on Zenvest or via a Slite note. It takes way too long to build a simple and powerful one!
Dima Braven
What's a great landing page design! Fantastic job and fantastiс product!
Kateryna Bibik
wow, nice! It's can be really useful for our team! Thank you
