@alicevdeng Congrats on the launch! What are some use cases you envision this unlocking for merchants?
Alice Deng
@rickyyean Many! Here are some examples: - Instead of hiring a large finance and collections team, you can use Slope Pay Now to automatically reconcile and collect payments - If you're an offline wholesaler that is starting to sell products online, you can add Slope Pay Now as your checkout - If you're a U.S. merchant but have Mexican clients, you can use Slope Pay Now to accept MXN and get paid out in USD. These are just some, so much more!
Ricky Yean
@alicevdeng nice, can I create pay now links for different installments whenever I want?
Lawrence Lin Murata
@alicevdeng @rickyyean Yes, you can create instant links to send to your business customers for Pay Now and Pay Later. You can offer installments, net terms, milestone-based payments, and custom plans. All of this with no code.
Benjie Coolidge
@alicevdeng @rickyyean why not just use Stripe?
Alice Deng
@rickyyean @ben_coolidge Great question! Stripe actually doesn't support milestone payments. We know this pain first hand because we were trying to facilitate B2B transactions that require a deposit or paying when something ships. We had to make a dozens of invoice link manually. Other ways we are different than Stripe: - We're built from the ground up for B2B. Stripe and other modern solutions focus on consumer payments hence enabling any merchants to accept credit cards. What this translates into product wise means accepting ACH, wire, cross border, etc. - B2B workflows like milestone payments - With Pay Now, we now support a comprehensive checkout that can facilitate payments AND financing (which is tablestakes for B2B and something Stripe does not support)

Does it support client sdk to setup recurring payment from users on monthly or yearly basis like a subscription based web app? And does it provide a way to send payment details of users to my own database?
Alice Deng
@pratap_tech Yes to both questions! Check out our dev API docs: https://developers.slope.so/. Is this a use case you're looking for?
Shubham Pratap Singh
@alicevdeng i will check docs. Also is it supported in India?
Alice Deng
@pratap_tech not currently!
Pranav Badami
This is huge, congrats team! Love the easy cross border support, that’s been a pain point for us. Is there a public list of markets y’all support / are planning to support?
Alice Deng
@pranavbadami Thank you! We're currently in Mexico, Canada - future markets are TBD! We go where users want us. Any requests?
Lawrence Lin Murata
@pranavbadami Happy to look into specific requests! Let us know
Alice Deng
Hey Product Hunt! I’m Alice Deng, co-founder of Slope, and thank you @mwseibel from Y Combinator for hunting us! After being in beta, we're excited to publicly announce the launch of Pay Now: B2B merchants can integrate Pay Now in minutes to accept credit card, ACH, and cross-border payments in a sleek UX through API or utilize our no-code invoice links. With Pay Now you get: • Cross-Border: Accept payments in MXN and be paid out in USD without any hassle • No-code Invoice Links: We understand that not every B2B business is ready to fully transition to online payments, so we've built a solution that bridges the gap for offline workflows. • Same-day ACH: Instead of taking 7-10 days to receive and send funds, you can get funds settled on the same day. • Milestone / Custom Schedule Payments: We enable merchants to set up future billings and accept payments in installments, in accordance to milestones or specific terms agreed upon with their customers. • Guest Checkout: We don't require customers to create an account. To get started with Pay Now, visit our API documentation at developers.slope.so. To learn more, contact me at alice@slope.so or find time directly https://calendly.com/alice-deng/.... Read our full blog post. We believe that Pay Now will be a game-changer for B2B payments, and we’re excited about taking one step closer to our mission of bringing the world’s B2B economy online. ⚡ We’re looking forward to hearing what you think!

Sumit Minocha
@alicevdeng @lawlm Congrats on the launch!! Crazy to remember how this all started, yall are legends!
Alice Lin
@lawlm @alicevdeng congratulations on the launch, this is huge!
Alice Deng
@lawlm @sasankh Too kind Sasankh - definitely check out our product! :)
Alice Deng
@mwseibel @alex_wu12 Appreciate that Alex, of course this is a team effort, I must say! :)
Julia Wu
This looks really sleek! Huge congrats Alice & Lawrence! 🎉 Given that you started with BNPL, what was the biggest impetus to build Pay Now? Did customers ask for it?
Alice Deng
@juliawu Yep! We were powering payments going through BNPL and many merchants were wondering if we could just power it all in one consolidated checkout. We then went live with a beta and started seeing merchants use us just for Pay Now and realized regular B2B payments is a massive pain!
Lawrence Lin Murata
@juliawu Thank you for your support Julia! It's been a big customer request to consolidate their checkout experience and we are excited to be publicly live now!
Alice Deng
@juliawu @lawlm Yes agreed!
Dave Yen
So many industries still operate on B2B payments flows that happen offline in a non-secure and super slow way. This is much needed!
Alice Deng
@davecyen Yep exactly, Dave! Thank you for the launch support!
Lawrence Lin Murata
@davecyen Yes, it's insane how there are trillions of dollars moved every year in B2B transactions and the vast majority of that volume is still offline. Speaks to how clunky existing solutions are for B2B
Alex Dettmer
@davecyen Couldn't have said it better. This is so needed!
Heleana Grace
Congrats on the launch, it looks beautiful! I'd love to see a video with a demo or anything like that.
Nick Heins
Game changing! Very well designed product. Can you share a little more on how integrating the product into the checkout flow works?
Alice Deng
@nick_heins definitely! You can use Pay Now in two ways: 1 - API (API docs) Integrate with Slope with minimal developer effort using our low-code checkout redirect API. All you need to do is generate a URL and redirect them there. And voila! Start accepting payments today. -OR- 2 - No-code Invoice Link We understand that not every B2B business is ready to fully transition to online payments, so we've built a solution that bridges the gap for offline workflows.
Lawrence Lin Murata
@nick_heins Thank you! Smooth UX is key as well as fast integration
Alex Dettmer
I love that there's two ways! Bridging that tech gap will be so important
Lawrence Lin Murata
@alex_dettmer Yes agreed!
Madeline Cortez Le
This is super useful for merchants worldwide. How are the fees and requirements for same day payouts?
Alice Deng
@mle Thanks Madeline! The fees are different based on merchant volume! No requirement, just need to be a Slope user :)
Mike Tannenbaum
Awesome launch - from a B2B payments perspective - this is really innovative - I can see a lot of use cases for an embedded checkout / BNPL
Alice Deng
@mike_tannenbaum Yes definitely! To the moon!! Thank you for the support!
Lawrence Lin Murata
@mike_tannenbaum 100%. Let's go!! Thank you for your support Mike
Richard Poelderl
Congrats on the launch @lawlm. The milestone payments is super relevant for LATAM especially. Very uncommon to pay in full right away in Brazil for example.
Alex Dettmer
@alicevdeng Are there any order, or revenue, minimums that I will be required to meet in order to integrate with Slope?
Alice Deng
@alex_dettmer Hey there Alex! That's a good question - for Pay Now, there is not minimums and it's Pay As You Go so no integration fees either. For Pay Later, there is - which is why Pay Now is a great entry way into our net terms offerings.
Lawrence Lin Murata
@alex_dettmer @alicevdeng Yes Pay Now is a great way to get started
Rafael Pinheiro
Congrats on the launch Lawrence and team! Would love to learn more on the cross-border payments. Any plans to expand Slope to support other currencies than MXN in the future?
Alice Deng
@rafael_pinheiro_costa Thank you! We build based on user need - any currency requests?
Lawrence Lin Murata
@rafael_pinheiro_costa Thank you Rafael. Happy to look into specific requests. Our plan is to offer a wider range of cross-border options
Calvin Dong
Interesting product! I think I’m especially curious to see if this might be adopted at point of sale, similar to what Square does now, but for the B2B use case.
Alice Deng
@calvin_dong Yes that's actually our goal - B2B checkout! Or do you mean offline electronic POS?
Usama Ejaz
Congratulations on launching Slope Pay Now! Here's to a successful and frictionless experience!
Lawrence Lin Murata
@usamaejaz Thank you Usama! Yes you get it. No friction!
Alice Deng
@usamaejaz Appreciate the support! Yes - exactly our goal. Is to create a consumer grade experience for business buyers. What frictionless means is under 5 seconds underwriting :)
Victor Klochikhin
wow! this looks just as seamless as e-commerce consumer-grade checkout! great job taking care of the businesses owners!
Alice Deng
@vintlucky Thank you Victor! That is our mission - is to help bring the world's B2B economy online. Join us by checking out our product!
Lawrence Lin Murata
@vintlucky Thanks Victor! Yes seamless is key
Alice Deng
@vintlucky Sure thing! :) Dm-ing your account
Eric Wei
Congrats - this is super smart! What have you found to be your biggest strength relative to other BNPL players?
Alice Deng
@eric_wei1 Thanks for the support Eric! We have an emphasis on machine learning to deliver fast underwriting of buyers at the point of purchase. Our team’s background is serious – rooted in deep learning for self-driving cars! Getting the risk and underwriting is key!
Khasan
Congrats! Who's you TA so far?
Alice Deng
@haserk Thank you!
Lawrence Lin Murata
@haserk Thanks Khasan! What do you mean by TA?
Bruno B. Ferrari Faviero
This is a game changer for merchants. The opportunity for in-house finance teams is being able to invest more in product and GTM, which is where companies *should* be focusing!
Alice Deng
@bfaviero2 Yes that is exactly it! Especially in times like these, we all must focus on our core business. Let us take away the hassle of B2B payments
Jacky Lin
Hi Alice, if I'm interested in growing my business with Slope, how quickly can I complete integration?
Alice Deng
@jacky_lin3 Definitely! Get started by checking out our API docs directly: https://developers.slope.so/docs.... Feel free to add time on my calendy!
Lawrence Lin Murata
@jacky_lin3 Happy to help. Hit us up!
