Smashboard is a disappearing, frictionless, and anonymous message board, with the goal of obtaining honest feedback for managers to better their teams by removing fear & flattery from tough topics.
Hi Product Hunt, Ben here, co-founder of Smashboard.io.
My co-founder Bryan and I are really excited to re-launch đź’ĄSmashboard, an anonymous, social platform for managers to obtain honest feedback from their teams.
Since the last launch 🚀, we’ve added some exciting new features:
We added the ability to sign up and create a Smashboard account! Alright, admittedly this is pretty standard, but once you sign in you get access to some cool new things:
- You can choose a user name via your user profile that is displayed on all of the posts you create.
- You will have access to a dashboard that features all of your previously created boards.
- Once signed up you are able to create a network using your teams' emails. Whenever you click on “Share This Topic” you can choose to send the board to people on your network or just send the link to someone via alternative methods.
We like to think of Smashboard as a 24/7 retrospective. You can quickly ask for feedback from your teams and get real-time, conversational-based data in return.
With this in mind, we have also added post reactions! This gives everyone a chance to respond to a post, even if they aren’t interested in fully joining the conversation.
***What we expect from this launch:***
At the last launch, we were looking to validate our idea, and while we received some good responses, this time we really want to ask something of the managers and leaders of the Product Hunt community: Is Smashboard something you can see yourself using with your teams?
If the answer is yes, we are looking for Beta testers to help us further validate our product.
If you are interested, please create an account and try Smashboard out with your teams!
We have created a public Smashboard specifically for feedback for Smashboard users, so please use it to help us better our product.
We are super thankful for the Product Hunt community and we look forward to your responses!
P.S.: I thought it would be interesting for the technical founders here to know, we have built Smashboard purely using Flutter! I don’t think we see many launches using Flutter but it has been a pretty awesome experience for us. Is anyone else building their product with Flutter?
