It's a really well done app, but the celebrity duets via YouTube is simply brilliant product marketing.

I cannot even express the joy that came out of watching some of the celebrity duets (with other celebs and regular users, alike). This is a thoughtful, intuitive, and fun app.
I just stumbled upon Smule and I found it to be a fantastic app. Very creative way to push user generated content over a social platform. I forecast a bunch of viral content coming off of it as it grows :-)
