Sniply is a browser-based clipboard manager that keeps your copied snippets accessible and organized. Easily store, retrieve, and delete copied content without logging in or dealing with complex tools.
🚀 Hey, Product Hunt! I’m excited to share Sniply with you all!
Sniply is part of a unique challenge I’ve taken on: building 20 apps in 20 weeks using AI assistance and a bit of help from a friend. This challenge is my way of showcasing how coding is rapidly moving toward natural language, where soon anyone will be able to build software by simply describing what they want—no advanced coding knowledge required. I’m not a developer by trade, but I’m managing to bring these apps to life with ChatGPT, VSCode, and some collaboration.
So, what’s Sniply all about?
Sniply is a Chrome extension designed for those times when you need a quick, local spot to temporarily store something you’ve copied—text, code snippets, links, you name it (just not images). Think of it as a virtual post-it note for your browser, minus the hassle of logging in, syncing, or paying fees. Everything stays securely on your local machine, so it’s fast, private, and always accessible.
With Sniply, you can:
• Copy and paste content with a couple of clicks
• Organize your snippets with drag-and-drop functionality
• Copy and delete items easily without the clutter of unnecessary features
It’s free, it’s simple, and it’s built to make multitasking a little smoother. I’d love your feedback, and I hope Sniply can be a helpful tool in your daily workflow!
Let me know what you think, and if you have any questions about the 20 in 20 challenge, I’d be happy to share more about this journey!
