As a founder we all dream of becoming Unicorns one day (private companies w/ $1B+ valuation) - At least I do :)
I LOVE reading through the execution strategies, processes, growth hacks etc. of these $1B+ companies and try to understand how they manage to scale so fast!
So we decided to dig deep into the tech stack, growth strategies, team composition etc of 404 US based Unicorns.
Here are a few interesting insights we found:
* 19.6% of Unicorns currently offer a Freemium/Free-Trial
* 26% of all Unicorn staff are in Sales and Business Development.
* Salesforce is the CRM of choice while Hubspot dominates for the Marketing Automation platform amongst unicorns.
* Stripe is the highest valued tech Private Company
