Sofa helps you be more intentional with your downtime by creating lists of things to watch, read, play, and more.
With 4.0, you can add basically anything, and expand Sofa to fit your exact needs with Custom Categories, Ingredients, and Smart Lists.
Hey PH,
I’m really excited to share Sofa 4.0!
Sofa has always been great for organizing books to read, movies to watch, and video games to play, but people do so much more with their downtime.
People go out to eat, travel, hike, enjoy live shows, and a million other things. Sofa 4.0 will allow you to organize all of these in one place.
With Sofa 4.0, you can add basically anything, and expand Sofa to fit your exact needs with Custom Categories, Ingredients, and Smart Lists.
I have a longer walkthrough video going through all the new features:

Feel free to ask any questions. I’m happy to answer 👋.
@poohbers This is super cool Shawn, I'm going to take a proper look. I have always dreamt of doing something similar for events. This is inspirational. Congrats!
First time came across this app and this is all that I’ve been looking for since a while!
I have one query though, I am unable to share a link from safari or App Store using the share sheet. Is this a paid feature? I’m on iPad.
Edit: it now shows up in the share sheet after restarting the iPad.😅
Has it Trakt integration yet? Last time I checked it wasn't there and without Trakt integration I won't use it - the hussle to start at 0 is too much work for me.
@poohbers Thanks for the reply! On the positive side: I totally love your upgrade landingpage! It's the best I've seen for a long time and as a marketer I have respect for your clarity. It's like you said in your deep dive video: sometimes you like an app, but an important feature is missing and that's a deal breaker.
upvoted cause my memory's a sieve and this sounds like a couch-potato's dream for keeping track of all the binge-worthy
Kinda curious about these "Ingredients" though – do they let you tag mood or genres to help pick what to dive into next? That'd be neat for those 'what to watch' dilemmas. 🛋️✨
@aman_wen I also have a terrible memory lol, Sofa helps me a lot.
And yes, you could create Ingredients specifically for your mood or different genres. Basically whatever you want.
Been using Sofa and I really like how much easier it is to take advantage of chill time with this! We all know the netflix hunt sucks.. This is such a good solution. Awesome work!!
This is amazing! You've created the app i've always wanted to build!
One feature I'd love here, (forgive me if i've missed it!) is the ability to connect with family and friends and have shared lists. Movies to watch with my partner, books to queue up for my book club etc.
Got to hand it to you, Shawn, Sofa 4.0 really expands on what made the previous versions so good. Adding things like Ingredients to my lists is a unique twist that fits well with my cooking hobby. Nice work!
