👋 Hey there, I'm Josh, one of the guys behind Beamer 4 – an effortless video streaming tool that takes video from Mac to Apple TV or Chromecast.
This app has a special story: it was originally made by other devs but then left behind. We’ve stepped in to make sure such a great app doesn’t disappear. We’ve fixed and improved Beamer so you can try the latest version – with more features, improved performance, and updated design.
The first thing to know about Beamer is how simple it is: You launch it on your Mac, drag a movie onto it and it automatically starts beaming via Airplay 2 or Chromecast. And that’s it!

You're absolutely right; Beamer 4 has transitioned to a subscription model. This change is a part of our larger move where Beamer has joined the Softorino family, and it's now included in Universal License subscription. This subscription not only covers Beamer 4 but also provides access to a suite of more than a dozen Softorino apps, including popular ones like WALTR PRO and SYC.
We believe that this transition to the Universal License subscription offers more value, granting access to a wide range of useful apps.
