Another affordable, handy app from @joshsoftorino and the team at Softorino! This one looks useful if you do any amount of local file management or just want to customize your desktop experience like you do your Home Screen!

The tiny dots that Apple came up with hardly show up and are essentially worthless. This app, Folder Colorizer, is simple and to the point and just what I need. Congrats 🍾

I have been using Softorino apps – @joshsoftorino – for a good few years now and the addition of Folder Colorizer is a welcome addition to the family. It has a multitude of options for adding images, icons and emoji to your folder designs – it isn’t just for adding coloured folders.

I agree, looks really nice, but an app like this shouldn't require a subscription. Way too expensive.

Yes, Another colourful gem, convenient for many scenarios, user-friendly, of course because Softorino. Solid addition to the already outstanding line of applications. Great idea, and I was so into it I downloaded it immediately, only to realize that the pricing model for this is utterly stupid. Not to mention misleading. The site displays a price of roughly $3, only to then bait-and-switch you into a $35/mo price. Really lame. This app is worth $3, one time, and is not compelling enough to warrant a subscription of any kind, let alone $35/mo.

Super interesting product, but the pricing schema and coupling it with other apps that users may or may not need/want, makes it a hard pass for me. $300 for a one time payment is a great value, if you want/need the app bundle. Beyond that, I'm sorry guys, but I hesitate to recommend, which is a bummer because I think the fluidity and UI on this app is outstanding.

$300?? Or $10 a month to change my folder colors? This is ridiculous, I thought this was a one time payment...

Love it! I have been colourising my folders for years, but this just makes it so much easier and with way fewer steps. Highly recommend. Even the techs at the Genius Bar at the Apple Store were impressed, and said they had never seen a customer colorise their folders before! :)

I like this app, and recommend it, but it does seem to have a few quirks. It would be nice to have an option to change the folder color system wide.
